d&b D80 Touring rack

The four-channel D80 amplifier is a high power density amplifier, ideal for use in both mobile and installation environments. It contains configurations for all d&b speakers and a linear mode. The signal delay function allows user-defined settings of up to 10 s (= 3440 m/11286 ft) to be applied independently of each channel. The same goes for the two 16-band equalizers, which provide optional parametric, asymmetric, tribute or hack filtering. The D80 has a color TFT touchscreen that provides quick access to the menu structure, while the rotary encoder can be used for fine-tuning. The front panel and integrated touchscreen of the D80 amplifier are tilted up for easy use when the amplifier is below eye level. The equal relationship between signal input and amplifier output channels increases application flexibility, especially for the use of monitor, front filling or power channel. The LoadMatch function integrated into the D80 amplifier allows electrical compensation of the speaker cable properties without the need for an additional conductor. This results in increased accuracy of sound reproduction over a bandwidth of up to 20 kHz, which preserves the tone balance when using cable lengths of up to 70 m. The D80 contains Class D amplifiers that use an active power factor correction (PFC) power supply suitable for mains voltage 100 V/120 V/200 V/230 V, 50 – 60 Hz and maintain a stable output when used with weak or unstable grid. Supplies. An NL8 provides all outputs on a single connector, while individual outputs are optional NL4 or EP5 connectors. RJ 45 and etherCON connectors enable access to the d&b Remote network via CAN-Bus and OCA/AES70 via Ethernet, respectively.
