For
Public Dental Care Västra Götaland would hold their Leader's Day, they contacted Adapt to help develop a sustainable concept that could be implemented even during the pandemic. Adapt's solution was a hub meeting, which meant that the conference was broadcast live from Adapts Studio Medium in Gothenburg to cinemas in Skövde, Uddevalla, Borås and Gothenburg. Each cinema was also equipped with a mobile studio. A total of 300 people attended the hub meeting.

Two-way interactivity between premises

It was on 21 October that Folktandvården Västra Götaland conducted its Leadership Day as a large hub meeting. They had booked our Studio Adapt Medium in Gothenburg for their broadcast. Ten speakers and a production team participated in the studio, presenting status updates on projects, a new communication concept and conducting panel discussions with most of the participants. The content was then broadcast live via a link to digital viewers and simultaneously streamed to cinemas without delay. In cinemas across the region, there were also various group activities with the attendees in each room. As there was interactivity in both directions, participants were able to provide their summary by feeding back to the studio directly. This was a very good implementation of our concept Cinema Connect. It's always extra fun and exciting when it's so big and so many people participate. The broadcast also went very well and the audience in the cinemas was incredibly satisfied afterwards.

Participants gathered physically in cinema lounges where they both participated in the hub meeting and conducted workshops.

The meeting of our time is a hybrid

Hybrid events are becoming increasingly common to reach and connect participants in different locations. One form of this is the hub meeting, which involves digitally linking several studios or venues together. Together, each creates a larger collaborative meeting. Our Cinema Connect concept thus forms one of the largest meeting arenas in the Nordic countries, with 100 event halls in more than 40 locations. The cinemas are connected to Adapt's equipmentand studios. It also includes two-way interactivity, which means that transmitters and receivers can have full communication with each other. Filmstaden also offers a fantastic catering solution and bio hosts on its premises. Therefore, all participants in their lounges will have a similar experience.
