Each M-series lens contains a genuine Intelligent Lens System (ILS) ™. ILS automatically recognizes and calibrates a lens when installed. Step motor-based encoding ensures that engine drift does not occur, which is usually found with DC-coded motors, this provides precise and repeatable recall of all lens displacement, zoom and focus positions.

When used with Christie M-series HD/WU products, this ILS lens has a 1.16-1.49:1 ratio.
When used with any Christie M-series SXGA+ products, the ILS lens provides a ratio of 1.25-1.6:1.
