Each M-series lens contains a genuine Intelligent Lens System (ILS) ™. ILS automatically recognizes and calibrates a lens when installed. Step motor-based encoding ensures that engine drift does not occur, which is usually found with DC-coded motors, this provides precise and repeatable recall of all lens displacement, zoom and focus positions.

When used with Christie M series HD/WU products, this ILS zoom lens has 1.8-2.6:1 ratio.
If used with any Christie M Series SXGA+ products, the ILS zoom lens provides a ratio of 2.0-2.8:1.
