Shure Beta87 A | condenser microphone

Capacitor microphone that sounds good for singing but can also be used for other instruments such as wind instruments and strings. The microphone has a more high resolution sound image than a Beta58/Sm58. Beta 87 is available in two different models, both as cardioid and supercardioid. When singing, supercardioid is recommended as it allows you to play the stage monitors louder without there being feedback. If the microphone is to be used for speech, cardioid is recommended as the microphone can then pick up sound better even if you do not have it close to your mouth.
