Adapt has a large range of LED screens that can be used for events, fairs and studios. Our LED screens are modular and consist of panels that can be easily moved around and built up in any location. The advantage of an LED screen compared to, for example, a projector is that the LED screen can be used in bright environments, for example outdoors, and that they can be built very large.
Here you can find the LED screens that Adapt have for rent to events and fairs.
How an LED screen is built
An LED display is made up of many small diodes that together provide a moving image surface. The diodes are mounted in panels, which in turn are assembled into a display of any size. The density of the diodes, known as the "pixel pitch", determines how high resolution the LED screen is. The denser the diodes are mounted, the higher the resolution of the screen. And the higher the resolution of an LED screen, the closer you can stand without it appearing pixelated.
A rule of thumb when calculating the resolution of an LED screen is that 1 mm pixelpitch corresponds to 1 m of visibility distance. If an LED screen has 10 mm pixelpitch, you need to stand at about 10 m distance to get a good picture. And if the LED screen has 3 mm pixelpitch, it is enough to stand at about 3 m distance to get a good picture.
When renting or purchasing an LED screen, it is very important to determine how high resolution, i.e. pixelpitch, the screen needs to have. That is, how far away from the screen those who will watch it will be. The higher the resolution of an LED screen, the more diodes are used, which also means a higher cost of renting or purchasing the LED screen.
Adapt rent, sell and install different kinds of LED walls. Which one you choose depends on the area of use.
beMatrix LED skin
For rental and sales, Adapt the innovative LED screen LED skin from beMatrix. It is a modular LED display of high quality that is adapted to the beMatrix frame system. This means that the screen can easily be built into different constructions, for example as part of a larger wall or framed by décor on a stage. beMatrix LED skin is available in resolution 3.1 mm and 2.5 mm in Adapt which makes it very suitable for events and fairs where guests are often close to the screen.
Low-resolution LED monitors
Also called "creative LED". This type of LED panel is used for, for example, stage backgrounds or as décor elements. It has a low pixelpitch which means that visitors often need to stand at least 10 m away from the screen to get a nice picture. A low-resolution LED wall is very common in stage performances where you want large screens at a low cost and where the LED wall then acts as a great light effect. A low-resolution LED wall normally has a pixel pitch from 10 mm.
High resolution LED monitors
A high-resolution LED wall is used when you should clearly see what is being shown, such as film, images and texts, and when visitors will be located relatively close to the screen. The pixel pixel (resolution) on these screens is normally 6 mm or denser. The closer guests are to the screen, the higher the resolution is needed. Most high resolution LED screens today have a pixel pitch of 3 mm or higher.
LED screen for fixed installation
An LED screen for fixed installation indoors or outdoors is a cost-effective option as it is not adapted to move around. Adapt sells LED screen for all kinds of installations, for example for event rooms, conference rooms, shops and showrooms. We also offer easy-to-use control systems that make it easy to view different types of content on the LED screen.
