A project involves many parts and competences. Whether it's a meeting or conference, a trade show or a permanent installation. Whether it's a physical or digital environment. And the more extensive the project, the more parts there will be. Therefore, project management is important.
You know what the goal of your project is and what you want out of it. Our experienced project managers help you navigate the right way to realize your goals and ambitions. They are careful to familiarize themselves with the project and always start from what is needed. This allows them to consult with you so that each bet adds value. In larger projects, different project and production managers collaborate with each other to contribute to an efficient and optimally cohesive project.
Our project managers work mainly in three different project areas.
Overall project management
It is our project managers who have the first contact with you as a customer. They actively participate in the process; from the preparatory talks until the project is completed and whether you are a company, organisation or agency. They collaborate with your project managers and lead, staff and organize the project on issues such as budgeting, planning, concept and content work, equipment, staff and premises.
In the larger projects you meet our senior project managers. They usually have the role of Adapt's account manager. They are also the ones who lead more extensive and international projects as well as various special projects. In smaller projects, such as simpler meetings streamed from one of our streaming studios, it is a project or production manager who has overall responsibility. It coordinates equipment and staff and ensures that your ambitions and wishes are taken advantage of.
Technical project management
An event project can involve a lot equipment and need different technical special solutions. How much and how many depends on how big the project is and whether it is a physical or digital event.
It can be about light, sound, image solutions, camera production, stage constructions and stage décor, streaming technology, dialogue tools and publishing platforms, construction of exhibition stands, 3D drawings and much more.
Our experienced technical project managers not only ensure the technical quality of the project. They produce drawings, book, plan and coordinate all technical resources and coordinate all technical staff. They also ensure that the budget estimates are correct and they lead the technical practical work on the ground.
Project management for studio productions
Moving the physical event to a TV or streaming studio can be a challenge. It is often a matter of a format and arrangement you have in mind for a physical event need to be redesigned. Time may have to be considerably shortened, messages concentrated and the number of speakers limited. Perhaps interactivity and dialogue must be used? Should some parts be broadcast live or are certain parts enough? Is a moderator needed, what do we do with presentations, should we pre-produce different film elements? Does the project best fit in a regular studio or in one of our hybrid studios? There are many questions and opportunities.
Going "from the stage to the box" makes different and new demands. There is also a need for an understanding and consideration of the audience and the conditions they have. Our experienced project managers and producers will guide you through all parts of the studio production. These include issues such as the type of streaming platform and the choice of studio to questions about the format, concept, content and coaching of speakers and moderators. In short; our producers help you get the most out of your project and achieve your goals.
