Engineers' Day 2022 created a meeting place focused on learning and networking for the future
For the second year in a row, Linti Group organised the Engineers' Day, which is Sweden's first official day for engineers. The focus of the day was learning and networking for the future and with wireless headphones, live podcasts and masterclasses, they thus created a meeting place for the industry. Adapt provided the sound, lighting and imaging solutions and was thus responsible for the technical production.
In mid-May, the second Engineering Day which is Sweden's first official day for engineers, took place. The organiser was Linti Group and the venue for the conference was Nacka Strand Meetings and Events outside Stockholm. The aim of the day was to celebrate Sweden's engineers and their innovative, creative and meticulous work. At the same time, they wanted to create a meeting place with both learning and networking for the future.
Equipped visitors with headphones
For a whole afternoon, the Engineering Day filled the large event hall with both physical guests and an inspiring and knowledge-packed content. When participants arrived, they were equipped with a pair of headphones which they kept for the duration of the conference. The programme meant that participants could choose what they wanted to listen to or visit in the room. There were four different channels to choose from. These were the main stage and three different live podcasts running in parallel. The event hall was decorated with futuristically designed tents from which the live podcasts were broadcast live to the audience. Speakers and experts were seated in the tents to discuss and debate current and relevant topics.
Adapt tied the technology together
Adapts The mission of this conference was to create and connect the technical conditions. We supplied the sound, lighting and visual solutions and were thus responsible for the entire technical production, except for the headphones, which were supplied by another company. In the event room built the big stage, mounted front lights, equipped speakers with microphones and installed image areas including a six-metre wide projection screen. We also created several break-out rooms containing both stage and screen. There they then held so-called masterclasses, which involved lectures for up to 25 people with cinema seating.
