Live digital hybrid event as most popular employers announced
When Universum announced the top list of Sweden's Most Attractive Employers 2021 among Young Professionals, they did so through a live digital hybrid event. With an awards ceremony, speakers and in-studio entertainment, they celebrated the companies while livestreaming the event to a digital audience.
Every year Universe one of Sweden's largest surveys of young professionals and students. The aim is to find out about the latest career trends and young talent's attitudes to the labour market. Participants in the study are also asked to rank which companies they would most like to see as their employer in the future. To celebrate those who were voted Sweden's most popular entrepreneurs, Universum organised a live digital hybrid event.
Magical atmosphere in the studio
Universum Award Professional Ranking 2021 took place on 30 September in Adapts hybrid studio at Fotografiska in Stockholm. The studio is equipped with several large screens that the organisers and speakers used when showing slides and ppt's. On stage, interesting panel discussions were held with invited guests on the topic at hand. In the opposite part of the studio, the audience was spread out around several smaller tables. In addition to a music duo, magician Jimmy Svärdhagen provided the entertainment and impressed the audience with his magic tricks. The event ended with an award ceremony for Sweden's Most Attractive Employers 2021. Professional of the Year 2021.
The possibilities of digital broadcasting
I hybrid studio equipment, knowledge and staff to implement a truly professional digital and interactive broadcasting with high quality sound, light and images. In the case of Universum, they chose to use multiple cameras to film the event. Therefore it was possible to view the studio from different angles, switch between speakers and zoom-in the image. In this way, viewers could also take in the content on the LED screens. Viewers were also able to see the name and title of the person in the picture and that content such as pre-produced films was played directly on the TV screen. Of course, all participants in the studio were equipped with microphones for clear sound.

Digital and hybrid events are becoming increasingly common. There are of course several reasons why companies choose this option but one thing is for sure - it is simply possible to have more participants, reach unlimited viewers and it is not limited to a physical location either.
