Studio recording combined different elements of participation, media and channels

The company SuperOffice conducted a studio recording so as not to be limited geographically or in time. Their studio recording combined several different elements. It included in-studio participants, remote speakers, digital presentations and pre-recorded video footage. The studio recording was part of a larger international context and was replayed at a later date.

When SuperOffice held its annual meeting in January this year, they chose to do so through a digital studio recording. SuperOffice is one of Europe's leading providers of CRM systems. With offices in several European countries, it was virtually impossible for all participants to physically gather in one place. This was due to the current pandemic. Instead, they conducted a pre-recorded studio production with Adapt this spring Studio Large, Gothia Towers, in Gothenburg. The purpose of the studio recording was to inform and inspire the company's staff.

The organisers spoke in front of the big screen in Studio Adapt Large in Gothenburg.

The studio recording part of a larger event

As SuperOffice is present in several countries in Europe, the recording in Studio Adapt Large in Gothenburg just one of many. The studio recording this time combined different types of participation, media and channels. The technicians in the studio edited the material together directly during the recording in a neat and informative way. To make the recordings as good as possible, Adapt's editors also had a hand in the production, polishing the various sequences. At the end of the week, SuperOffice played the taped parts at a live digital event from Oslo.

The image on the screen was split with the presentation on the left and the speaker on the right.

The studio production combines different elements

The production thus alternated between different elements such as participants in the studio, speakers via teams, powerpoint presentations and pre-recorded videos. In the studio, participants had a large LED screen on which they displayed their digital presentations. They were also equipped with microphones for the best sound reproduction. So when it came time for speakers to participate via teams, the studio technicians instead showed their presentations live on the TV screen. At the same time, as a viewer, you saw a split image. The speaker and his digital presentation were placed side by side on the screen. The same was true when the participants via teams talked to the participants in the studio. Between the speakers, pre-recorded film sequences were shown to the viewers, also directly in the box.

The technicians cut the material together directly in the studio.

Greater control with prerecorded content

With a studio recording, your viewers are not limited by time or space. They can access your studio recording digitally at any time and from anywhere. A studio production also allows you to easily and conveniently use a variety of elements such as studio participants, remote speakers, digital presentations and pre-recorded video footage. Once the studio recording is produced, you choose how, when and who can access your content.
