… the nominees are!
Yay! Adapts’ co-founder and CEO, Viking Grandin, has been nominated for the prestigious Narren – Stora Eventpriset 2024 award. It’s especially exciting that Adapts’ journey—from organizing local discos in a small town in Dalsland to producing major international events and trade shows today—is being recognized by the industry.
The award is presented annually by the Swedish Event Academy to an individual in the events and meetings industry who has made a significant impact. The winner will be selected by the Academy’s members at a ceremony held during the Möten & Event trade show in Kista on February 19, 2025.
Here is what Viking himself had to say about the nomination:
“It’s incredibly exciting to be recognized, and it’s especially an honor when it comes from colleagues in the industry. I’d also like to say that Adapt have been possible without my colleague and longtime partner since our school days in Bengtsfors, Jonathan Olsson.”
Among the other nominees are Åsa Johansen, CEO of Women in Tech; Johan Petré, owner of Petré Event & PR and the aid organization Operation Aid; and Tommy Brotte, owner of Interaktiva Möten.
What a boost for Viking and for us at Adapt! We are now looking ahead to the opportunities of the future, with a focus on innovation, sustainability, and creating even better productions for our customers and partners.
