The Role
At Adapt, our Technical Project Managers form the backbone of our operations. You will plan, execute, and follow up on Adapt's audiovisual projects. You will collaborate closely with our clients and work hand-in-hand with all members of our team, as well as with producers, designers, and a wide array of other specialists. Your deliverables will extend beyond flawless technical projects; equally vital are ensuring reliability, demonstrating business acumen, and creating powerful, lasting experiences.
Naturally, you possess robust technical expertise in audio, lighting, and video equipment. This is complemented by several years of professional experience, preferably within the event and/or television industry. Leveraging this foundation, you will actively engage in creative processes, contributing to the development of ideas, concepts, and technical solutions. You will also be responsible for the production of technical drawings and visualizations, ensuring accurate and precise project planning. Furthermore, you are an adept communicator who recognizes the critical importance of frequent and clear communication with all project stakeholders, especially our clients.
Your work will be autonomous; you will determine the methods, timing, and location of your tasks, while maintaining respect for the project, clients, and your team. Your ultimate objective is to realize the visions and aspirations of our clients. This commitment is at the core of your professional drive.
More formally, we require proficiency in the following areas:
- Provide support and collaborate with other team members, including account managers, producers, and technical specialists.
- Develop technical solutions, concepts, and cost estimates.
- Plan and book technical equipment and personnel resources, both external and internal.
- Supervise and motivate technical personnel throughout the entire project process.
- Book and manage equipment within our EasyJob warehouse and logistics system.
- Ensure effective, relevant, and frequent communication within projects.
- Follow up on, analyze, and provide feedback on completed projects.
- To proactively and inquisitively contribute to the development of the company and our operations.
To conclude
This is a full-time position, primarily based in Stockholm. You will also occasionally be required to travel to and work from our office in Gothenburg and our warehouse and logistics center in Linköping. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to manage projects in other parts of the world – should you desire!
