Behind every fantastic event is an even better technical production manager. We're looking for one more!
At Adapt , we don’t just Adapt events. We create trade shows, conferences, meetings, hybrid events, and experiences that inspire people, help them learn new things, build relationships, and do business.
Sometimes it’s a small meeting for a few hundred people. Sometimes it’s an international conference with several thousand participants from all over the world. And almost always, it’s about transforming an empty venue into something that, just a few days earlier, existed only as a 3D visualization.
We are now looking to strengthen our team in Stockholm with a Senior Technical Production Manager, who will plan, lead, and execute our productions.
Is this you?
You enjoy it when equipment, people, and logistics work together to create something truly great. You’re just as comfortable poring over a drawing or a production schedule as you are out on the shop floor with the technicians as production gets underway.
You know that a successful event is rarely a matter of luck. It’s about planning, experience, communication, and a team working toward the same goal—a stylish, safe, and flawless execution.
And if we're being honest, you might actually get a little extra energy and a hell of a lot of drive when someone says, “That'll never work.”
What are you going to do?
You are the person who takes the lead when a project begins to take shape. Together with our project managers, you plan how ideas, concepts, and 3D visualizations will be transformed into functional technical solutions in the real world.
You are responsible for equipment, resources, logistics, and execution. You lead technicians, coordinate with suppliers, ensure that the schedule is met, and make sure the client feels confident throughout the entire production process.
In short: You make sure equipment right equipment, the right people, and the right resources are in the right place at the right time. And when the doors open, everything just has to work. At the right time, in the right place, and the right way. Simple. Right?
Where will you be working?
Primarily in Stockholm and at Stockholmsmässan, where we are an in-house partner. But if you want to grow and be challenged outside the capital, there are plenty of opportunities. About 50 percent of Adapt’s projects are carried out internationally, which means you may have the opportunity to work on productions both throughout Sweden and in other parts of the world.
As an in-house partner to Stockholmsmässan, Svenska Mässan Gothia Towers, and Fotografiska, we are part of some of the Nordic region’s most important venues. Every year, we carry out hundreds of projects—ranging from small corporate meetings to some of Europe’s largest conferences, trade shows, and events.
Who are we looking for?
To succeed in this role, you need several years of professional experience working with sound, lighting, video, and stage technology. You’ve likely worked as a technician for many years and now feel confident leading large-scale technical productions, teams, and projects. You have a strong technical understanding, are organized, and enjoy planning. At the same time, you’re confident enough to make decisions when reality doesn’t go according to plan—because that happens sometimes.
We also believe that you:
- Has experience leading teams and coordinating resources.
- I am accustomed to building trust with customers, colleagues, and business partners.
- Communicates fluently in Swedish and English.
- I have a Class B driver's license.
- You like to decide for yourself when, how, and where you work

- We decide for ourselves when, where, and how we work—freedom with responsibility, while being considerate of one another and our projects.
- We operate according to our core values—“simple,”“innovative,” and“kind”—which guide everything we do.
- We work at one of Sweden's largest and fastest-growing production companies—where over 50% of the projects are international.
But above all, we like doing things together.
With us, you'll get:
- Work on varied and challenging projects.
- Fantastic colleagues who are highly skilled and deeply committed.
- Opportunities for professional growth both nationally and internationally.
- A culture characterized by cooperation, humility, and humor.
- The opportunity to influence both your projects and the company's future development.
We usually say that we do more than just organize events. We create gathering places, experiences, and relationships—in a simple, innovative, and kind way. And we have a lot of fun while we’re doing it.
