Adapt is proud to have commenced the new year with an exceptional project in Sundsvall. On New Year's Eve, we not only bid farewell to 2023 but also participated in the inauguration of Sundsvall's 400th-anniversary celebration in 2024!
Our commission involved creating a large-scale projection, or 'projection mapping,' onto Sundsvall City Hall. The facade was transformed into an immense canvas where thousands of spectators experienced a spectacular temporal journey through the city's history. The content, produced by Sundsvall Municipality in collaboration with local artists, unified the city's past, present, and future within a captivating visual narrative.
And what a finale! The narrative culminated in a magnificent fireworks display that illuminated the facade and heralded the new year.
