AVEVA World - a world-class event project
We recently completed our biggest event project of the year in... Paris!
Our assignment was to design and deliver two complete stage solutions and a large-scale innovation fair for AVEVA World. This recurring event is held regularly in different locations around the world and brings together thousands of guests. This is the third time we have organised it in close collaboration with our American partner L.A.B Productions.
But how did we as a Scandinavian production company end up in Paris? It's actually no coincidence.
In 2019, Adapt's and AVEVA's (then called OSIsoft) team met for the first time when the event was held at the Swedish Exhibition Centre Gothia Towers in Gothenburg. We carried out a fantastic project together and when AVEVA was set to stage the event in Amsterdam in 2022, they asked if we wanted to be involved again.
"Of course we do!", we replied, as we work all over the world. And after another successful event in Amsterdam, it was decided that the next location would be Paris. Since then we have been working intensively on site visits and project planning.
Long-term relationships often create the best projects. And we at Adapt find these kinds of projects are great fun to work on because we get to use all our different skills and experiences. We get to...
- Understand the goals, purpose and what AVEVA wants to convey, which is a prerequisite for designing really accurate solutions.
- 3D scan all the premises and design solutions in our 3D worlds, so everyone has the same idea of what the end result will look like.
- Build and deliver both technically advanced stage solutions and entire expo areas, creating consistency and efficiency.
- Combine our Scandinavian resources with local network partners, which provides security and is good for both the project's budget and carbon footprint.
