Global digital event with more than 5000 participants

Imagine a global digital event with 252 speakers, 5000 digital participants and 498 new matchmaking meetings. This was the result of the Sweden Innovation Days 2022 digital event when it was held at Studio Adapt Large. Doesn't that sound exciting?

Sweden Innovation Days was a global digital event that engaged companies all over the world. It was the organisers View Communication and Vinnova who organised the event. It was held over four full days in Studio Adapt Large in Stockholm while it was broadcast live digitally. The environment was at the top of the agenda at this digital event. Businesses around the world could access the content via three different platforms. The aim was to bring companies together for conversation and discussion and thereby find solutions to achieve the UN climate goals Agenda 2030.

Digital event creates new opportunities

The organisers of Sweden Innovation Days 2022 targeted companies and Swedish companies were the main participants. In total, more than 5000 participants followed the event digitally in 97 countries. It also featured 252 speakers and of these, 94 participated remotely and spoke via a link that was connected to studio. The broadcast consisted of multiple scenes streamed to several different platforms. For example, there was a physical audience in the pavilion in Dubai watching on a big screen. On YouTube, viewers could access the content via Vinnova and the Swedish Energy Agency's channels. Participants also had the opportunity to log in digitally via an interactive meeting platform and thereby choose which parts they wanted to follow. At the same time, they could also create new interesting conversations and discussions. Sweden Innovation Days 2022 therefore also resulted in 498 new matchmaking meetings.

It became a global digital meeting place

A global digital event has no boundaries, either physical or in number of participants. With the impact of the pandemics and climate change, this was an excellent solution. Participants could now access the content from anywhere. They could also interact with each other through a digital and interactive meeting platform. As a result, business collaboration for the environment will now continue and take new directions. It's been great to be part of this project. We look forward to the next one!
