2,000 guests attended the 3-day Scandinavian Gathering event in Gothenburg

In collaboration with the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre Gothia Towers, Adapt a technical solution to the Scandinavian Gathering event. We designed and installed stage, sound, lighting and image technology and ensured that the right staff were in place for construction, implementation and dismantling.

Adapt delivered a complete technical solution with design, equipment and staff for the event at the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre Gothia Towers.

The project was carried out at the Gothia Towers B-hall. During two days, about 2,000 guests were invited to lectures, entertainment and gala dinner. The theme of the event was Art Deco/The Great Gatsby.

Adapt's project work started with us drawing up a 3D design that reflected the theme and showed what the stage and technology solution would look like. In this way, both our customer and Adapt's own staff were able to see in advance how the end result would look. At the same time, we also confirmed that the solution would work practically in the room.

Important with large picture areas

Since more than 2,000 guests would be able to see camera images, presentations and graphics clearly, large picture areas were important. At the same time, the monitors were also an important part of the stage design. For the project, we therefore custom-made 3 baking projection screens in our own triangle design that fit the theme of the event. The total width of the stage and projection was a whopping 36 m, which gave good visibility to all guests, including those sitting at the back of the room.

Large screens at the event
The large monitors ensured that even the guests at the back of the room could see graphics, presentations and camera image clearly.

The projection itself was carried out with 3 bright 30'000 ansilumen Christie Boxer 4K30 projectors. The image solution was controlled from a Barco e2 image mixer system together with watchout media server, which was used for background graphics.

Stage solution, trusses and lighting equipment were built up in a way that reflected the theme and the graphic profile of the event; with angular, angled shapes that went in gold and black. Together with a creative lighting, we created an impactful setting of the event.
