Adapt was the proud recipient of the 'LLB Awards Visionary' in 2021. Our transformation was executed with unprecedented speed. From the critical days and weeks of March 2020, it took merely a few weeks for five streaming studios to be fully operational in Stockholm and Gothenburg.
Our studios were quickly fully booked and remain so. Additionally, we constructed a large hybrid studio in Gothenburg and initiated and strengthened successful collaborations with Filmstaden, Fotografiska, and Gothia Towers Svenska Mässan.
“This is a collective award, an honor bestowed upon every individual at Adapt,” states Viking Grandin, founder of Adapt. “It is profoundly significant that the industry has recognized and valued our efforts and achievements. I speak for everyone at Adapt when I say we feel: 'Damn, we did it, we pulled it off!' Thank you for this truly distinguished award. And a huge congratulations from all of us to Terese Johansson, who won the LLB Awards Trailblazer!”

I believe I speak for everyone at Adapt when I express our collective sentiment: we succeeded, we accomplished it!

From the award citation, we quote: ”[Adapt] swiftly adapted its business model to the new circumstances; they did not cancel but rather transformed. Recognizing clients' need for remote communication, they promptly established several new streaming and hybrid studios. Adapt also initiated numerous collaborations, for instance, with Filmstaden and other industry players. Despite the pandemic, the company experienced growth and an increase in its workforce.”
LLB (Sound, Light, and Image) was established in 1990 and functions as the industry association for companies specializing in experience equipment. The LLB Awards are presented biennially and comprise two distinct categories: the LLB Awards Eldsjäl, an individual recognition, and the LLB Awards Visionär.
