Strawberry and Adapt in an impactful collaboration

Currently, our installation team is engaged in a highly exciting project; the new installation of equipment and effects in the adventure bath and hotel The Reef in Frederikshavn. Last autumn, Strawberry acquired the hotel, and it is currently undergoing a complete renovation in preparation for its reopening in June!

When initiating a project, we always commence with a 3D scan – as demonstrated in the film showcasing The Reef before the renovation began. Through 3D scanning, we obtain precise measurements of the entire facility, which all project stakeholders can utilize in their work. We also acquire floor plans and foundational data that can be integrated into our 3D software; an invaluable tool when planning an installation.

At The Reef, we are installing a brand-new audio, lighting, and video system, replete with dynamic effects for the aquatic park, public areas, and event venues. All equipment is controlled via our user-friendly BLOCKS system, enabling hotel staff to operate the equipment effortlessly, without prior expertise. Furthermore, BLOCKS synchronizes the equipment with the various aquatic park installations, including wave generators, waterfalls, and water cannons. Guests will experience a simulated day-night cycle, from sunrise to sunset, complete with diverse effects and atmospheres, during each hour spent in the aquatic park.
