In December, SAAB’s new high-tech showroom and auditorium in Karlskoga finally opened its doors. In the old “Stallet” building on the Bofors site, we were commissioned by SAAB Dynamics and BAE Systems Bofors to design and deliver a fully integrated technical solution featuring a large number of screens, high-resolution LED displays, lighting technology, and audio equipment.
All equipment connected via a network and controlled through our interactive, user-friendly BLOCKS system. With this system, anyone can operate the equipment and give presentations and demos without any prior knowledge.
The project was carried out in close collaboration with the agency PS Occasion, which handled the concept and project management; Simon Gate, who handled the design; and Sture, who handled the construction.
One of the biggest challenges of the project was the installation of a 9-meter-wide and 2-meter-high, high-resolution LED wall in the auditorium. Since structural constraints prevented placing additional weight on the ceiling beams, we designed a custom floor-mounted stand that preserved the building’s architectural character without compromising functionality or aesthetics.
“The Stable” was officially inaugurated before the Christmas holidays and now offers a professional setting for client meetings, product launches, and international events. This reinforces the site’s role as a hub for innovation while respecting its historical significance.
We are proud and delighted to have been part of such an exciting project. A big thank you to all the partners and colleagues involved for a job well done!
