One of Europe’s largest event venues is now expanding its offerings. In partnership with one of Sweden’s leading providers of comprehensive technical solutions for events and trade shows, they have built a permanent, state-of-the-art streaming studio.
Svenska Mässan Gothia Towers, in collaboration with Adapt & Expo, has built a brand-new streaming studio in central Gothenburg. The new studio is fully equipped with professional video and audio technology and decorated in a stunning Nordic style. The goal is to meet the growing demand for a permanent studio and thereby offer high-quality digital meetings, events, and live broadcasts to both new and existing customers.

Streaming Studio for the Future
Gothia Studio represents a further development of a collaboration that commenced five years ago, when Svenska Mässan Gothia Towers and Adapt Event & Expo jointly began offering their clients comprehensive technical solutions for major meetings and events. Leveraging Adapt's equipment, Svenska Mässan has evolved into one of Europe's largest digital and hybrid meeting venues.
Svenska Mässan Gothia Towers and Adapt have collaboratively executed both small and large-scale projects, encompassing physical and digital formats, over the years. When the pandemic emerged in spring 2020, they established the first streaming studio to address the sudden demand for digital meetings and conferences. However, what began as a temporary solution has now become a permanent requirement.
– Previously, we integrated the equipment into the existing meeting space. For this new studio, we have instead planned, installed, and constructed everything from the ground up. Consequently, significant emphasis has been placed on flexibility, user-friendliness, and communication from the outset, states Filip Möllergren, Studio Manager at Adapt in Gothenburg.
Gothia Studio is thus a fully digital facility, comprehensively equipped with the latest event and meeting equipment. While featuring fixed installations, the equipment remains flexible and easily adaptable to evolving requirements and demands.
– When Adapt constructs a streaming studio, our approach consistently incorporates a future-proof perspective. It is insufficient to merely employ the most advanced equipment; every aspect must be meticulously planned and prepared to facilitate rapid and seamless expansion, development, and upgrades, states Filip Möllergren.
The New Studio
Gothia Studio is situated within Svenska Mässan Gothia Towers in Gothenburg and is scheduled to be inaugurated on April 28, 2022. This fully digital studio spans a total of 140 square meters and accommodates 6-10 speakers. The studio is notably equipped with a large 6 x 2 meter LED screen and three distinct presentation areas. Adjacent to the studio, a comfortable lounge area is available for discussions and networking. Ideal for digital meetings, events, and live broadcasts.
