For four days, the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Center in Gothenburg was filled with readers, authors, journalists, and publishers as the Book Fair once again brought people together around literature, social issues, and culture.
Of course, we were there. Together with our partner, Svenska Mässan Gothia Towers, Adapt built 11 exhibition booths this year, including ones for some of Sweden’s leading daily newspapers: Expressen, Dagens Nyheter, and Svenska Dagbladet.

Several of the booths featured integrated stages where author talks, interviews, and discussions could take place amid the hustle and bustle of the fair.
The stages were equipped with equipment for both the on-site audience and online viewers. With seats filled to capacity and people gathered along the aisles, interest in the program events remained high throughout the fair.
Combining a stage and a booth places special demands on both design and equipment. The environment needs to attract passersby, create space for an audience, and at the same time provide the right conditions for participants, production, and digital broadcasts.
Reusable Designs with Unique Aesthetics
All booths were built using our flexible and reusable beMatrix system. The frames can be combined in various ways and customized to each exhibitor’s visual identity, space, and needs.
After the trade show, the structures can be disassembled and reconfigured for future projects. This reduces the need to custom-build new frames for every event and creates a smarter solution in terms of both material usage and budget.
Even though the same basic system is used, each booth can have its own unique look.
Prints from our own production
All printed graphics were produced in our own Printshop in Linköping. There, the materials could be printed, checked, and adapted to the specific designs before being packed and shipped to Gothenburg.
When both design and printing are handled within the same production workflow, it becomes easier to ensure the quality of the final result and make any necessary adjustments before on-site installation begins.
