Smeg launches its products through a physical event in the studios of Fotografiska in Stockholm

In conjunction with the launch of the new Galileo oven range, Smeg held an event in the studios of Fotografiska. The event was organised by the event agency Contrast and Adapt was responsible for the entire technical production. It was great to once again be able to bring people together physically around a wonderful and inspiring piece of content.

For
Smeg to launch their new products, they held a physical event in the studios of Fotografiska in Stockholm. Because it was the new oven series Galileo that was the focus of the evening was thus cooking. The event was organised by Contrast and we at Adapt was responsible for the entire technical delivery.

Inspiring activities and taste experiences

The event was divided into two rooms, with activities in both studio Ellen and Annie. The event offered a blissful mix of entertainment with live music at the start and later in the evening in studio Annie. Guests also enjoyed dinner there with both main course and dessert, followed by coffee and mingling in the bar.

Smeg's story set the mood in the room

To maximise the possibilities of the space, we had unique films delivered to show on the 55-metre wide projection surface. This included a film of Smeg's history laid out like a timeline. In it, Smeg presented all its products with dates, right from its inception to the present day. In Ellen, they also conducted live cooking with a hired professional chef. The chef prepared food for visitors to taste while also demonstrating the features and capabilities of the new oven. Later in the evening, we also displayed music visuals on the walls to the music played by the live band.

Dinner at the event
In the evening, dinner, live music and mingling in Studio Annie were offered to all guests at the event.

A substantial and well-organised physical event

This was both a well-organised and rich event, filling a whole evening and with only physical participants. It was really great to be part of this event because there is something special about a physical meeting. It was great to be able to bring everyone together again for a really entertaining event with inspiring content. Would you like to know more about how you can run a physical, digital or hybrid event?
