Success in Optimizely & Avensia's booth with 600 visitors already before lunch

Optimizely and Avensia's booth engaged many of the visitors at D-Congress 2022. Together with Kicks, they offered participants make-up, beauty tips and advice on the digital journey, among other things. They also had the opportunity to try out their online shop and Kicks' new treat box, which will soon be rolled out in stores. Interest among visitors was so high that it was barely possible to get into the stand at the after-work session.

Optimizely and Avensia created together with us at Adapt a stand for their participation at D-Congress 2022. The aim of the stand was to show the cooperation with Kicks web shop. Kicks is a retail chain of make-up and beauty products aimed at consumers.

Fair stand filled with beauty and e-commerce

This was one of the larger stands at the fair and it was visible from the entrance. By building a portal that stretched across the aisle, we created attention while directing the flow of visitors through the stand. The booth featured the new Kicks treat box where guests could try out their new concept and get beauty tips. This is a new service that will be available in Kicks stores soon. The stand had several digital screens which we connected via the user-friendly control system Blocks. With Blocks, organisers could choose which material to display and control the content directly from their own mobile or tablet.

Kicks offered visitors both make-up and beauty tips in their treat box.

Focus on a successful concept

In e-commerce, the retail chain Kicks is a successful and inspiring example. Among other things, Kicks has its own online shop through which it sells its products and through which you as a customer can also book appointments online. Because they have been so successful in modern online retail, we wanted to create content around them. The purpose of this stand was to highlight a winner in e-commerce and at the same time show the successful Kicks concept.

At the stand, visitors could pick up a goodie bag in the form of an e-commerce bag.

Attracted visitors with a goodie bag

To create a direct flow to the stand, we handed out packets to visitors at the entrance. They then took these to the stand where they could collect a goodie bag. This included a product from Kicks and a drink ticket for the afternoon's after-work event. The gift was packaged in a standard e-commerce bag and would thus symbolise that the visitor had shopped via an online shop.

Visitors at the fair
Many people visited the booth and were eager to learn about make-up, beauty tips and talk about the digital journey.

What a success!

Interest in the stand was high and 600 bags had already been collected before lunch, which meant that there were as many visitors to the stand. As they had also received a drink ticket, there was another reason to return to the stand later in the day. The day ended accordingly with an after-work party where visitors could pick up and enjoy their drink. By the time the after-work got underway, the stand was already full and so crowded that it was barely possible to get in.
