This year's equipment innovations revolved around transparent displays in both small and large formats, and various types of sensors capable of detecting presence, distance, hand movements, colors, objects, etc. In combination with control systems and audiovisual equipment, transparent displays and sensors create impactful environments that invite interaction. This is ideal for interactive installations, experience centers, and exhibition stands.
High-resolution LED screens, configurable in a multitude of arrangements, remained a recurring theme, as in previous years. A new development this year is the increased utilization of LED screens as backgrounds in studio productions. When filmed by cameras, the images displayed on these screens appear lifelike with natural illumination, while digital environments can be altered with a single button press. This is an equipment solution that we at Adapt have personally employed in our studios for many years.
