DHL created a cinema lounge at the fair with a large screen in the stand

What started with a screen in the booth ended with a small cinema. Together with DHL, we created a creative stand with a concept that tied in with the assignment they had for the latest James Bond film. With a large screen in the booth, they were able to show the film about their work while giving visitors a real cinema experience.

Before attending the fair D-Congress 2021 DHL contacted us at Adapt because they wanted a monitor for their stand. But what started out as a request for just one screen turned into a collaboration between Adapt and DHL. Together we created a creative and inspiring stand for their customers and visitors.

Secure and efficient deliveries

The purpose of the fair was to tell about the mission DHL had in connection with the filming of the latest James Bond films No time to die. Their mission was to take care of the logistics of all the film equipment. They were responsible for transporting it across the world safely and efficiently. The theme of the stand was obvious as the new James Bond film was premiering around the same time as the fair. So together we created a stand that would give visitors a real cinema experience.

The stand became a cinema

The message DHL wanted to convey was that their deliveries were both fast and smooth. To convey this in a simple and accessible way, they had filmed a commercial about the project. Using a large screen in the stand, they were able to play the film and show visitors how they worked. Then, to link the concept to the James Bond film, we simply created a small cinema.

We take the whole picture into account

When we plan a go up we are careful to take into account the whole picture, such as exhibition space, flows and location. Therefore, it was no coincidence that the screen was placed on the left side of the stand. There it would be in the line of sight of visitors passing in the aisle outside. In this way, it attracted attention and the stand gained higher visibility. Many visitors also entered via a staircase down to the exhibition hall. As the flow of people was high there, there were also sales people from DHL. The right side of the stand was thus free and open. Therefore, the sellers could easily and naturally create a dialogue with the visitors and at the same time invite them to the stand.

Not just a stand, but a whole fair

We carefully review the concept of the stand as well as the overall fair. This means we look at everything from the planning of the stand and placement in the exhibition hall to the flow of people moving around. A trade fair is not just a stand, but a whole that it is important to be aware of. That's why we always look at how best to create attention and dialogue with visitors in a simple, natural and inviting way. After completing the fair, DHL was very satisfied with the cooperation, the stand and their entire participation in the fair. We thank you for your trust and hope to see you again soon.
