Comments Off on AVEVA selects Adapt as production partner for AVEVA World 2026, a global flagship event in Milan

AVEVA has appointed Adapt as its production partner for AVEVA World 2026, the company’s flagship global customer event, to be held at MiCo Arena in Milan in mid-May. The event will bring together more than 5,000 customers, partners and industry leaders from across the world for four intensive days of networking, inspiration and knowledge sharing.

The program includes internationally renowned keynote speakers, more than 250 breakout sessions, a large-scale Innovation Zone exhibition showcasing AVEVA and its partner ecosystem, as well as the evening event After Dark, a social outdoor experience featuring food, networking and live performances on a large open-air stage.

Adapt was selected in strong international competition with leading global production companies and agencies. The assignment includes full concept development, technical production, exhibition and booth construction, scenic and decorative elements, print and branding, as well as complete staffing across all areas at MiCo Arena. The project represents a complex production and engages all of Adapt’s core competencies.

Jane Pettman, VP Events at AVEVA, comments on the decision: “Adapt impressed us with a strong proposal for MiCo Arena, combining creative ideas, practical solutions, and an experienced team. Having partnered successfully in Paris 2024, we’re confident in their ability to deliver at the highest level in Milan and excited to work with them again.”

“We are incredibly proud to have been entrusted with this assignment,” says Viking Grandin, CEO at Adapt. “It is especially exciting to bring all of our combined expertise in project management, design, technology, signage and exhibition production to Milan to deliver such a large and complex international project. Thanks to our global AV Alliance and beMatrix networks, we are able to execute the production in a highly efficient and environmentally responsible way – without compromising on quality or creativity.”

  4. We concur: “No one can do everything, but everyone can do something!”

Comments Off on We agree, “No one can do everything, but everyone can do something!”

A few years ago, Adapt established contact with the orphanage Together as One in Ghana, managed by Swedes Terese Engborg and Susanna Benckert. Since then, we have supported them in various ways, providing both technical equipment and educational materials from our inventory, as well as annual contributions to their operations. All in accordance with their motto: “No one can do everything, but everyone can do something.”

We observe daily the paramount importance of long-term relationships. Our collaboration with Together as One is founded on the same principle; they conduct their operations in a straightforward and transparent manner, consistently prioritizing the well-being of individuals.

Therefore, this year's Christmas gift funds from Adapt will be allocated to completing the computer lab at Tina's Childcare Academy. Please read more via the link in the comments!

  5. 60,000 visitors. 70 countries. 72 hours non-stop. A new European record.

Comments Off on 60,000 visitors. 70 countries. 72 hours non-stop. New European record

Last weekend, DreamHack Stockholm made history as the largest DreamHack festival ever held in Europe. Sweden's Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson and Prince Daniel were in attendance. World champions in Overwatch, Brawl Stars, and THE FINALS were crowned. And Stockholmsmässan was filled to capacity.

As the technical partner for Stockholmsmässan, Adapt maintained round-the-clock readiness. Adapt's team, led by Simon Beck, ensured seamless audio and visual operations throughout World Cup finals, live shows, and a continuous LAN event. When projectors and PA systems are required to deliver flawless performance for three days – concurrently with 60,000 fans occupying the halls – there is zero tolerance for error; challenges must be addressed preemptively.

Our sincere gratitude to the entire team and the organizers. We look forward to reconvening on November 27–29, 2026.

  6. Adapt Reviews Digitalize in Sthlm at Münchenbryggeriet

Comments Off on Adapt summarizes Digitalize in Sthlm at Münchenbryggeriet

In early November, for the third consecutive time, we had the opportunity to co-produce Digitalize in Sthlm ’25 – this year held at Münchenbryggeriet in collaboration with our partners at Meetx and the organizer Digital Futures. 700 engaged participants gathered to explore the theme 'AI Everywhere' and delve into the opportunities, risks, and ethics surrounding autonomous AI systems.

Our mandate was to design and deliver the entire production for the event; comprising a keynote stage where the scenography was largely constructed from large LED screens for dynamic content, complete with audio, lighting, and camera production, and an exhibition area featuring approximately 50 stations where exhibitors could showcase their work and services on digital displays.

Our profound gratitude to Digital Futures, Meetx, and Münchenbryggeriet for an exceptionally successful collaboration. And, of course, to our entire on-site team for their energy, precision, and dedication throughout the production! We now look forward to new ideas and the next edition: Digitalize in Sthlm ’26!

  7. One of Stockholm's hidden gems among event venues is...

Comments Off on One of Stockholm's hidden gems for event venues is...

Victoria Hall at Stockholmsmässan! An efficient and highly flexible venue featuring retractable grandstands, fully equipped with AV technology and an impressive 18 × 5 m LED screen, offering endless possibilities. Conference by day – dinner by night – no problem! (The same innovative grandstand system is also available at our partner, Svenska Mässan Gothia Towers in Gothenburg!)

This is how it looked last week when we had the privilege of assisting Creative Meetings and Folktandvården with their event, which was held concurrently with Swedental. Two intensive days that alternated between daytime conferences and evening dinners. During the event, our large LED screen was utilized to its fullest potential (content is king – excellently produced by Creative!) with full-coverage background visuals, embedded Picture-in-Picture (PiP) windows for presentations, and multi-camera production on the side screens. This solution provided both dynamism, clarity, and a truly cohesive aesthetic within the venue.

Our sincere thanks to Creative Meetings, Folktandvården, and, of course, our exceptional partner Stockholmsmässan for a truly excellent collaboration!

  8. World Water Week united the global community on climate and water issues.

Comments Off on World Water Week united the world on climate and water issues

Last week, we facilitated the World Water Week for the second time at Waterfront in Stockholm – the world's leading conference on global water issues, held annually since 1991. This year, the conference gathered 13,000 participants from 188 countries, both on-site in Stockholm and digitally worldwide.

Adapt was entrusted with designing and delivering equipment and solutions for eight hybrid stages accommodating both physical and digital speakers. The hundreds of sessions were livestreamed to a global audience, thus enabling the conference's theme, Water for Climate, to reach participants regardless of their global location.

Over five intensive days, ideas and solutions concerning water, climate, and sustainability were shared by policymakers, business leaders, researchers, NGOs, students, and representatives of indigenous peoples.

The message was clear: water is not only central to the climate issue – it is the foundation for a just and sustainable future.

We extend our sincere gratitude to SIWI and all collaborating partners for their confidence – we are proud to contribute to such a vital forum that convenes the world around the most significant water-related challenges.

  9. Stockholm Fair's new display is ready.

Comments Off on Stockholm Exhibition Centre's new display is ready

Our business manager Julia is delighted with the new high-resolution 18 x 5 meter LED screen that we have just installed in Victoriahallen at Stockholmsmässan! With a pixel pitch of 2.5 mm and a resolution of 6912 x 1920 pixels, the screen is ready for all of this fall's major productions – from conferences with live camera production to grand concerts and gala evenings.

Victoriahallen is one of Stockholm Exhibition & Congress Center's most flexible venues and can accommodate up to 2,000 people. Since its inauguration in 1992, it has hosted everything from concerts and international gala dinners to intimate meetings and conferences. Some fun facts about Victoriahallen:

    • The Melodifestivalen was held here in 1996 – the winner was One More Time withDen vilda.
    • John Cleese and Richard Branson are just two of the many well-known speakers who have taken to the stage.
    • The unique grandstand can be raised and lowered, making the hall extra flexible.
    • The hall's LED lighting is energy-efficient and can generate all conceivable color combinations using RGB technology.

We anticipate an event-filled autumn in Victoriahallen, featuring a new display surface designed to create a significant impact!

  10. Roadshow and relaxation provided us with energy during the summer.

Comments Off on A roadshow and relaxation provided us with summer energy

This summer, we have balanced the tranquility of the hammock with numerous exciting projects, including the Optimizely Roadshow, which was successfully executed at our partner venue Fotografiska!

The day offered inspiration, insights, workshops, engaging speakers on stage, and a summer-themed mingle with a DJ. A total of 255 participants gathered on-site for a day filled with energy. We delivered a complete AV solution for a hybrid experience, complemented by staging and event decor that set the ambiance. Fotografiska's impressive 180-degree wall projection allowed us to transform the space with a single button press, creating dynamic environments that enhanced both content and atmosphere.

A big thank you to Optimizely and Fotografiska for a truly excellent collaboration. We carry the warmth, energy, and delightful summer ambiance forward into our autumn projects!

  11. Expressen Sets the Tone in Visby with Adapt

Comments Off on Expressen sets the tone in Visby with Adapt

Currently, Almedalen Week in Visby is bustling with activity, and we are proud to be on-site alongside Expressen!

From our custom-built studio pavilion, interviews with party leaders and prominent public figures are broadcast live throughout the week directly across Expressen's channels. This represents an intensive and critical assignment where Adapt is responsible for design, construction, equipment, and personnel. Every detail is meticulously planned to ensure a secure, flexible, and highly functional production in the heart of Visby.

Expressen's pavilion is constructed using beMatrix's new Pop-Out system, which has enabled the creation of a mobile, weather-resistant solution featuring integrated equipment, branded surfaces, and a 12×3 m LED screen mounted on the roof. The entire structure comprises four modules that can be transported as flat packs, ready for relocation to the subsequent event.

Many thanks to the Expressen team for their trust, our exceptional on-site staff, and to Sven Lindwall for the excellent photographs!

  12. New lighting installation in Stockholm's most unique event venue!

Comments Off on New lighting installation in Stockholm's most unique event venue!

60 meters underground, in what was once Sweden's first nuclear reactor, you will find Reaktorhallen R1 – a spectacular event venue located in the heart of the KTH campus.

Over the past year, we have been developing a new dynamic and versatile lighting installation tailored for all types of events hosted within this austere environment. This undertaking commenced with 3D scanning the venue and creating a lighting design, subsequently progressing to detailed planning, and culminating in installation and programming.

By integrating color-changing LED luminaires into the raw architecture of the space, we have engineered a lighting design that enhances the ambiance and provides maximum flexibility for concerts, art installations, lectures, and theatrical performances.

All equipment is controlled via our BLOCKS control system, which enables anyone to control the lighting directly from a mobile phone or tablet. With a single click, anyone can transform the atmosphere and tailor it to their specific project.

Are you looking for a venue that truly makes an impression? We highly recommend a visit to Reaktorhallen – Stockholm's most exciting event venue!
