When PwC convened employees from the Nordics and Europe for a conference, the event was executed as a hybrid production in Studio Annie at Fotografiska in Stockholm. A physical audience attended in the studio while the content was simultaneously produced and recorded for digital distribution.
Initially, the event was planned as a livestream, but during the project's progression, the organizer opted to also invite participants to the studio. The outcome was an interactive conference where presentations, panel discussions, and remote speakers were combined in a production that performed equally well for the in-room audience and the digital audience. Adapt was responsible for the complete technical production.
During the conference, both internal and external speakers participated, and the audience could actively interact via a digital tool where participants posed questions and engaged in polls during the sessions. During breaks, participants gathered outside the studio where refreshments and meals were served, and where discussions and networking continued between program segments.
Hybrid Production with Advanced Camera Solution
To capture the conference from multiple angles, a multi-camera production utilizing four cameras was employed. This yielded a dynamic video production that was effective for both recording and the in-studio visual experience.
Adapt also provided set design and technical solutions that enhanced the overall experience. In the studio, custom-designed animations were used on the walls as backgrounds for various program segments. The combination of set design, lighting design, multi-camera production, and interactivity created a hybrid conference where content was professionally presented to both the in-room audience and digital participants.
