Studio Large, Stockholm

During the Sweden Innovation Days event, innovation stakeholders from across the globe convened for four days of presentations, discussions, and international collaboration. Produced from Studio Adapt Large, the event was aimed at businesses, researchers, and policymakers engaged in innovation and sustainable development.

Over the course of the four days, more than 5,000 individuals from 97 nations participated in the event, which featured a total of 252 speakers. Among these, 94 contributed remotely via live link from diverse global locations. The program underscored how innovation and collaborative efforts can facilitate the achievement of the UN's Agenda 2030 objectives and foster solutions for a more sustainable future.

The event was organized by Vinnova, in collaboration with Energimyndigheten and the communications agency Utsikt Kommunikation. Adapt managed the technical production and livestreaming operations from the Stockholm studio.

Global Hybrid Production

The production was conceived as a global digital event, with content simultaneously broadcast across multiple platforms and environments. Beyond the live stream originating from the Stockholm studio, Adapt also established a dedicated studio within the Swedish pavilion in Dubai, coinciding with the Expo 2020 Dubai world exhibition. This setup allowed a physical audience to engage with the event via a large screen, while speakers and content were seamlessly interconnected across various nations and continents.

The broadcast was disseminated through multiple channels, including YouTube and a dedicated digital meeting platform. This platform enabled participants to select specific sessions to attend while simultaneously facilitating networking opportunities with other attendees.

The integration of studio recording, global livestreaming, and digital interaction established an international forum where discussions on innovation and sustainability could transcend geographical boundaries.
