Thousands of children, young people, and families gathered at Gaming Generation – an event where gaming culture, creativity, and community are central. Across multiple iterations, Adapt has been entrusted with contributing to the overall technical execution and creating the physical conditions for a safe and engaging experience.
The project commenced with 3D visualization of the areas to ensure optimal flow between stages, activity zones, and LAN areas. In a high-tempo, audience-intensive environment, it is crucial to simulate sightlines, crowd movements, and technical solutions in advance to ensure both safety and an exceptional experience.
Adapt was responsible for stage production, including audio, lighting, and video equipment, LED solutions, staging, and technical staffing throughout the event. Concurrently, we constructed partner and activity areas where equipment, branding, and functionality converged to create a cohesive festival environment.
Gaming Generation demonstrates how well-conceived technical production and clear structural organization in large open spaces create opportunities for inspiration, learning, and intergenerational encounters – within an environment focused on energy, movement, and experience.
The event was planned using 3D
In preparation for Gaming Generation, we built a detailed 3D model of the entire event space. In the visualization, stages, activity zones, partner areas, and LAN zones were placed exactly where they would be in reality. This made it possible to analyze in advance how visitors would move through the space and ensure clear traffic flow between different parts of the event.
By simulating sightlines, audience movements, and technical installations, we were able to optimize stage placements, LED solutions, and safety zones before construction began. The 3D model provided the organizer, production team, and technicians with a shared vision as early as the planning phase, making it possible to create a safe, efficient, and engaging event environment for thousands of visitors.
