Circle K Exhibition Stand
Elmia Lastbil

This year's truck fair in Jönköping was a success for Circle K, with nearly half of all visitors stopping by their exhibition booth for a coffee break. During the fair's four days, approximately 14,000 cups of coffee and almost 10,000 cinnamon buns and doughnuts were served.

When Circle K participated in Elmia Lastbil 2022, a prominent and clear meeting point was established in the center of the exhibition hall. Over four days, the road transport industry gathered at Elmia Congress & Concert Hall, where drivers, transport companies, and suppliers convened to network and explore the latest industry developments.

The fair attracted approximately 30,000 visitors, and Circle K's stand quickly became one of the most frequented locations on site. Throughout the event, approximately 14,000 cups of coffee were served, alongside nearly 10,000 cinnamon buns and doughnuts – all baked directly within the stand. The interest was so significant that, at times, long queues of visitors formed, eager to take a break, enjoy refreshments, and engage with the Circle K team.

The stand solution was designed and constructed by Adapt's expo team with the objective of creating a clear focal point at the exhibition. The design adhered to Circle K's graphic profile, with colors, materials, and furnishings inspired by the company's roadside stations. The stand was equipped with both coffee machines and ovens, where buns were continuously baked throughout the exhibition.

Digital LED Screens and Interactive Equipment

The stand was equipped with large LED screens displaying films and information about Circle K's operations, while the company's proprietary music loop played through the sound system.

The stand was constructed using the flexible and reusable beMatrix system, complemented by integrated audio, lighting, and video equipment. All technical functionalities were connected to the BLOCKS control system, enabling content, presentations, and display areas to be managed directly from a mobile phone. Visitors could also access information via iPads on floor stands positioned in front of the screens, rendering the stand both interactive and easily updatable throughout the exhibition.

3D Stand Design Prior to Construction

Prior to the project, Adapt's design team developed a detailed 3D visualization of the entire exhibition stand. The model allowed us to demonstrate in advance how the stand would appear with colors, materials, LED screens, lighting, and various on-site functionalities. By digitally constructing the entire environment, it became straightforward for the client to comprehend how the space would be utilized and how visitors would navigate through the stand.

3D design also enables the testing of various solutions before any physical construction commences. We can adjust the placement of displays, scenography, meeting areas, and graphics until both functionality and aesthetic expression are perfectly aligned. This establishes a clear, shared objective for all stakeholders, rendering the production more efficient, cost-effective, and secure when the time comes for on-site stand construction.
