Svenska Mässan Gothia Towers

As a technical partner to both Svenska Mässan Gothia Towers and the IFEAT organization, we were entrusted with transforming the congress hall and its surrounding areas into a cohesive environment themed Nordic Nexus. The objective was to create a distinct overall concept where the plenary, meeting areas, and social zones were interwoven into a unified experience throughout the entire congress week.

The technical production encompassed a 140 m² LED wall combined with multi-camera production, 123 moving heads, 116 static light sources, and approximately 300 meters of string lights. Collectively, these elements created a dynamic and warm Nordic ambiance that enhanced both content and atmosphere. With a dedicated technical team on-site throughout the week, a secure and seamless execution was ensured, where equipment, scenography, and international meeting culture converged into a clear and well-balanced entirety.

3D visualization provided a shared objective

The work commenced with a scaled 3D visualization of the entire congress area, where we digitally constructed the stage, meeting areas, and social environments. By integrating all technical elements into the model, we could pre-test stage layout, display surfaces, lighting design, and audience sightlines. This enabled us to ensure that both the stage and surrounding areas functioned optimally within the large venue.

The 3D model provided the organizer, production team, and technicians with a shared and clear objective long before on-site construction began. The result was an efficient production where every aspect of the environment was meticulously planned prior to installation.

FAQ

Technical production for large congresses necessitates meticulous planning of the stage, display surfaces, lighting design, sound systems, and audience flow. By combining strategic planning with technical design, the organizer can ensure that all components function cohesively. Adapt delivers comprehensive solutions for congresses where equipment, scenography, and production are coordinated within a stable and efficient framework.

3D visualization enables the planning of stages, display surfaces, lighting, and audience flow prior to installation. By simulating sightlines and proportions, organizers and production teams can gain a clear understanding of how the environment will function in reality. Adapt utilizes 3D design to establish a shared objective and streamline the production of large events and congresses.

LED walls are employed to create large, clear display surfaces where presentations, graphics, and video content are showcased to the audience. They can be integrated into scenography and combined with camera production to enhance the experience both within the venue and in digital broadcasts.

Lighting design is utilized to sculpt the space and amplify the stage's visual impact. By combining moving fixtures, static light sources, and decorative illumination, an environment can be created that is both functional for presentations and simultaneously contributes to a powerful visual experience.

Larger congresses necessitate a dedicated technical team responsible for installation, operation, and support throughout the entire event. Technicians collaborate closely with the production team to ensure that all sessions, presentations, and stage activities are executed without interruption.

Adapt delivers complete solutions that may include stage production, LED screens, projection, sound systems, lighting design, camera equipment, technical project management, and staffing. By consolidating all components into a coordinated production, organizers can create stable and engaging event environments for both physical and digital participants.
