Gothenburg served as a global hub for higher education when the EAIE Conference and Exhibition was hosted by our partner, the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre Gothia Towers. Over an intensive week, we provided comprehensive production, equipment, and personnel services for the entire congress – an undertaking demanding clear structural organization, meticulous coordination, and high technical precision.
The main stage was constructed at Scandinavium, accommodating 6,800 participants. Concurrently, we managed 17 breakout rooms, along with 12 activity areas and stages situated throughout the venue. The project commenced with detailed planning and visualization to guarantee appropriate technical solutions, optimal sightlines, and efficient operational flows across all spaces.
Behind the scenes, 102 wireless microphones, 49 projectors, 73 computers, and 144 loudspeakers were meticulously coordinated. A technical team of 105 professionals operated in unison throughout the week to ensure the secure and seamless execution of every keynote address, workshop, poster session, and stage activity.
EAIE stands as one of the world's foremost international events for higher education, convening thousands of participants for networking, knowledge exchange, and inspiration. Through a cohesive technical production spanning multiple venues, a stable and flexible platform was established to foster dialogue, development, and international collaboration.

3D visualizations provided clarity
For EAIE, we utilized detailed 3D visualization of the entire production. By digitally constructing stages, breakout rooms, and activity areas, we could demonstrate the appearance of the various environments early on. These visualizations enabled detailed planning of scenography, placement of display surfaces, projectors, loudspeakers, and lighting before installation commenced.
The digital model provided the organizer, technicians, and production team with a shared vision long before construction began in Gothenburg. This resulted in an efficient production where all involved parties understood precisely how the entire setup would function even before the first cable was laid.
