Strawberry and Adapt in powerful partnership
Right now our installation team is working on a really fun project; new installation of equipment and effects in the water park and hotel The Reef in Hamina. Last fall Strawberry took over the hotel and right now it is being completely renovated for the new opening in June!
When we start a project, we always start with a 3D scan - as you can see in the video showing The Reef before the refurbishment started. The 3D scan gives us precise measurements of the entire facility that everyone involved in the project can use in their work. We also get floor plans and documentation that we can lift into our 3D programs; an invaluable tool when planning an installation.
At The Reef we are installing a brand new sound, light and image system filled with effects for the water park, public areas and event venues. All equipment is controlled from our user-friendly BLOCKS system, which allows the technology to be easily controlled by the staff working at the hotel, without any prior knowledge. BLOCKS also synchronizes the technology with the various machines in the water park: wave machines, waterfalls and cannons. During each hour in the water park, guests will experience a fictitious day from sunrise to sunset with different effects and moods.
