Environmental policy

Adapt strives to use low environmental and climate-impact alternatives in its operations.

It is our goal to work for a better and more sustainable global environment. As a competitive company, we will strengthen our position by working to meet environmental considerations. This applies to our own company, our projects, employees and partners as well as in our relations with our customers.

Environmental thinking must be a part of all our activity and promote the UN climate goals. In all situations, we must therefore make conscious choices. Where it is possible to take a decision that is better for the environment than another option, this needs to be done.

Our operations will be conducted in such a way that the environment is protected and that raw materials and energy are used in the right way. The aim is to continuously develop in a positive direction and to continuously reduce our negative environmental impact.

As a service company, Adapt will always strive to minimise the environmental impact of our company and our projects. It is therefore everyone's responsibility to think and act in an environmentally responsible way. The ultimate responsibility for ensuring that this thinking is put into practice lies with the respective company director and management. Together we will work to ensure good health, well-being and equality.

For Adapt's continued development, it is important to pursue active environmental work, including:

  • be a climate certified company as soon as possible within the framework of established regulations and standards.
  • ensure that our own resources, from warehouses to vehicles and equipment, as well as our own travel, have as low an environmental impact as possible. This is particularly important for new investments.
  • by our own efforts and on our own initiative ensure a minimum environmental impact in the projects we undertake through active choices in collaboration with our clients.
  • always propose to our clients to climate neutralise/climate compensate the projects we do for them.
  • encourage and support internal and external initiatives that promote the environment.
  • carry out internal activities from an environmental perspective.
  • strive for environmentally-friendly travel and transport.
  • set firm and reasonable requirements for our subcontractors to take particular responsibility for environmental issues.

It is the responsibility of each employee to drive and develop Adapt's environmental work, both on their own and in the project teams they work in.

We will continuously measure and evaluate our compliance with the environmental targets we have set.

It is also the responsibility of each company director to ensure and quality assure the work. The company's board of directors has a special responsibility to ensure that the environmental work is carried out and developed in the right way, including certification work.
