State-of-the-art showroom inaugurated at Boforområdet in Karlskoga
In December, SAAB's new high-tech showroom and auditorium finally premiered in Karlskoga. In the old building "Stallet" in the Bofors area, we have designed and delivered a fully integrated technical solution with a large number of screens, high-resolution LED displays, lighting technology and sound equipment on behalf of SAAB Dynamics and BAE Systems Bofors.
All equipment is networked and controlled from our interactive and user-friendly BLOCKS system. With the system, anyone can control the equipment and make presentations and demos without any prior knowledge.
The project has been carried out in close collaboration with the agency PS Occasion, which was responsible for concept and project management, Simon Gate, which was responsible for design, and Sture, which delivered construction.
One of the biggest challenges of the project was the installation of a 9-meter wide and 2-meter high, high-resolution LED wall in the auditorium. As structural constraints prevented additional loading on the ceiling beams, we designed a customized floor stand that preserved the architectural character of the building without compromising on function and aesthetics.
"Officially inaugurated before the Christmas holidays, the 'Stable' now offers a professional environment for customer meetings, product launches and international events. It reinforces the site's role as a center of innovation while respecting its historical significance.
