See your next event visualised in 3D on a 180-degree LED screen

One challenge is to show clients or organisers in advance how a space will look and function for different types of projects. It's not always easy to imagine the end result when a room is empty. With Gothia Tower's new Experience Room, you can see your event visualised in 3D and also get inspiration from other completed projects.

Large screen LED for showroom
The new showroom has a large LED screen installed

Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre Gothia Towers is Northern Europe's largest congress centre. All kinds of projects can be carried out in their premises; small and large conferences, fairs, events and galas. In collaboration with them, Adapt has created "The Studio" - a showroom that is the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre Gothia Tower's own digital visualisation room. With luxurious furnishings and the latest technology, you get an effective presentation of their full offering. The room can be used to visualise in advance what an event looks like in a specific venue, for example before a pitch or a project meeting. Of course, you can also rent it for smaller meetings when you want to hold presentations in an exclusive, technical and changing environment.

Present visually on 180-degree LED screen

The showroom is framed by a 180-degree LED screen. The large screen can be used to display panoramic images, 3D drawings, movies and presentations. The sound equipment, together with the effective lighting on the walls and ceilings, creates an overall experience for the visitor. All equipmentin the room is interconnected and synchronised. This means you can create impressive entrances and presentations where sound, light and images interact to create an extraordinary experience.

Powerful equipmentpacked with features

The technology can be easily controlled via a wireless touch screen connected to the innovative media and control system BLOCKS. The functions and design of this system have been programmed by Adapt's engineers. Via a touch screen, the entire showroom can be changed at the touch of a button. The large LED screen can display panoramic images and films, transporting the visitor from a mountain range in the Himalayas, via the port of Gothenburg, to a beach in the Caribbean. The system can also be used to hold presentations and display information about Gothia Tower's various facilities and offers. Of course, you can also connect your own computer.

With its large LED screen, the room can also be used as a studio and for digital events

Finally, we can show our clients what their event will look like in our facilities - even before it's built! This offers fantastic opportunities, is a great reassurance for our customers and increases our sales at the same time

Easy to use from the first press of a button

When this Experience Room was designed, it was assumed that anyone would be able to walk in and give an effective presentation without any prior knowledge. The aim was to make it easy to use the sound equipment, lighting and, above all, the large LED screen. This is now entirely possible thanks to the ease with which all equipmentcan be controlled at the touch of a button via the BLOCKS system.

We planned and designed the room in 3D before installation

When we designed and furnished the Showroom, we did so in the 3D program 3D Studio Max. This gave us a scaled and realistic model of the space and technology. We were then able to use this in our design and lighting work. The model can be rendered as images, movies or used 'live' to walk around in just like a game. Below you can see an example of what it looks like when the 3D model is rendered as a movie clip.
