Innovative lighting for the world premiere of new BMW models
When BMW Group gathered sales managers from all over the world for the internal world premiere of six new car models for 2024, we at Adapt had the opportunity to show how good we are at working with different types of lighting to emphasise the visual characteristics of products. Working with lighting that leaves a lasting impression on the visitor, which in turn creates memorable events, is something we do very well. The exclusive event was held in our spacious studio at Fotografiska in Stockholm and was carried out together with the German agency Die Favoriten.
Die Favoriten and BMW Group chose our studio because they wanted a central studio close to Stockholm city centre. Since visitors were flying in from all over the world, they wanted it to be easy to get to the studio from Stockholm central station. The studio also needed to be large enough to accommodate all participants, and all six cars without feeling crowded. As it was the world premiere of the cars, they wanted to showcase the cars in an indoor environment away from public view.
Our overall solution also included equipment, sound and image technology as well as decor, staff, project management and stage production. To highlight the visual characteristics of the cars, we worked with a carefully planned lighting system. Thanks to our skilled lighting technicians and Die Favorit's talented creators, we were able to create an effective event in line with the new, unique cars.
Our customer feedback told us that they were very satisfied with our work and that we are flexible and competent. That makes us happy, of course!
LED screen for TV and film when Polestar recorded Super Bowl commercial
Adapt supplied LED screens for TV and film when car manufacturer Polestar filmed a commercial for its US launch. We used the LED screens as lighting to create stylish and visual special effects in the car's paintwork. The commercial aired during the Super Bowl, one of the biggest TV events in the US with over 99 million viewers.
When the Swedish car manufacturer Polestar wanted to launch one of their models on the US market, they shot a commercial with visual special effects. It was a big investment because the commercial would be broadcast at the same time as Super Bowl. It is the final game of the National Football League (NFL) and is one of the biggest television events of the year in the United States.
Digital lighting for visual effects
For help creating great lighting effects in the film, their production company turned to BRF (B-Reel Films) and to us at Adapt. On their behalf, we designed a technical solution to illuminate the car and create visible light effects in the form of movements and circles in the car's paintwork. Using digital lighting, the right camera angles, close-ups and, of course, a shiny paint job, visual effects were created that were out of the ordinary.
LED screens delivered the special effects
To achieve the desired special effects, we used beMatrix LEDskin high-resolution LED screens for lighting. Using two large LED screens, we illuminated the car. One of the screens, measuring 20×4.5 metres, was placed behind the car. The other was 8×10 metres and was mounted on the roof above the car. With the LED screens we created a natural light that could produce the desired special effects directly in the cameras without post-processing; movements, circles and reflections. During the shoot itself, the light could be easily adjusted and changed at the touch of a button. This made both on-set recording and post production quick and efficient.
Installed technical conditions
Adapt was responsible for delivering an overall technical solution to the project. This included the planning of equipment and rigging, drawing documentation and the installation and operation of the technology during filming.
Mistra Digital Forest digital and physical meeting at Fotografiska
Digitisation is high on the agenda even in something as physical as traditional forestry - where digital opportunities are now being used both inside and outside the forest.
The Mistra Digital Forest research programme organised its latest conference as a hybrid meeting at Fotografiska. There, 12 different speakers met 100 physical guests while hundreds of viewers also joined in digitally.
We at Adapt were entrusted to deliver a complete solution with equipment, staff and graphics for WatchOut and live broadcast. Many thanks to all involved for a really successful collaboration.

Installation and operation of equipment in the Swedish EXPO2020 pavilion in Dubai
On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Adapt has been involved in the implementation of the World Expo EXPO2020 in Dubai. For over three years we have been working on the project and the Swedish pavilion in Dubai. Our assignment has been to plan, install and operate all the AV equipment for the stages and the event and conference floor. During the 6 months of the exhibition, we conducted more than 250 events in the pavilion.
The EXPO2020 world exhibition has been running from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022. The theme of the exhibition has been Connecting Minds - Creating the Future focusing on opportunities, mobility and sustainability. The Swedish pavilion, the Forest, is located in the sustainability section of the exhibition. It is a sustainable building made entirely of wood with the aim of showcasing Swedish innovation, sustainable solutions and at the same time inspiring a greener transition. More than 190 countries have been represented in Dubai during the World Expo.
What has struck me most is how flexible, fast and collaborative Adapt's people are - even when we come up with a lot of quick assignments and changes
Ludwig Daver, Deputy Commissioner General, EXPO2020
Installation of technical solutions for the Swedish Pavilion
During the World Expo, together with our colleagues at CT, we have carried out more than 250 event in the pavilion; physical, digital and hybrid. There have been all kinds of projects ranging from one-man presentations on stage to full-scale live broadcasts, fashion shows and product launches.
What we have done in the pavilion is to install all types of AV equipment, including sound, lighting and video equipment streaming technology. All equipment has been connected via a network managed by the control system BLOCKS. This has allowed us to control all connected equipment from a single piece of software. With BLOCKS, our technicians and pavilion staff have been able to easily control all equipment from their usual mobile devices; mobile phones, tablets and computers.
How the BLOCKS system controlled all installed equipment in the Swedish pavilion in Dubai
Hybrid meetings increasingly important for communication
Ludwig Daver, Deputy Commissioner General of EXPO2020, is on hand in the Forest pavilion in Dubai. According to him, the value of the participation of Adapt cannot be overestimated. There are many things that the participants had to find new ways to carry out and do differently because of the pandemic. For example, companies have not been able to invite as many participants to Dubai and therefore hybrid meetings have become an increasingly important factor. Using Adapt's equipment, knowledge and experience, they have instead connected speakers from around the world with the event and conference floor in Dubai. As a result, participants have been able to attend meetings and conferences at the World Expo despite being on the other side of the world.
Ludwig Daver explains how the cooperation with Adapt worked
Strong teamwork in the Swedish pavilion
It has been an exciting time and one of the things that has characterised the work has been the strong team spirit among those who have worked in the pavilion. Ludwig says that it has also placed great demands on the cooperation to build and run the event and conference section. Those who have worked on site in the Swedish pavilion have more or less lived inside the fair. The work has been constantly changing and they have not known what is going to happen from one moment to the next. Therefore, flexibility has been the key to well-functioning teamwork in order to solve all the tasks together.
A world-class project
At Adapt we think it has been incredibly exciting to be part of such a large and important project. That's why it's been motivating to contribute what we do best. We have shared our knowledge and experience of equipment, installation and live streaming and how physical meetings become digital. In doing so, we have been involved in setting the structure and creating the conditions for everyone to be able to conduct physical meetings, hybrid events and fully digital broadcasts. Many thanks to all the colleagues, partners and clients we have had the pleasure of working with.
ROKLive EMEA 2022, a world-class event
For four days in October, Adapt , in collaboration with the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre Gothia Towers, delivered the audiovisual solutions for the event ROKLive EMEA 2022. Four days filled with lab sessions, demonstrations, digital broadcasts and inspirational talks.
Rockwell Automation is the world's largest industrial automation company and has been around since 1901. Today they operate in over 100 countries and have over
25,000 employees worldwide.
Meeting place for innovators
ROKLive EMEA brings together over 700 innovators in operations, maintenance, engineering and technological innovation. The aim of the event was to showcase their products and tell the story of how Rockwell Automation's intelligent devices and software solutions can change the way the industry looks at industrial automation.
The conference programme included interesting speakers and lecturers such as Christer Fuglesang and others. Christer told us his exciting story and his relationship with Rockwell Automation.
Many premises and much equipment
The Congress Hall was used for the larger conference sessions. In the room we rigged a 24×4.5 m angled projection surface consisting of 3 all-white projection screens. The projection was made with 3 Christie Boxer 4K30 projectors. The area under the screens was filled with stage decorations in the form of the ROKLive logo cut out of styrofoam standing on 1 m high stage platforms. The stage was complemented by an effective lighting system consisting of movable luminaires placed above the stage and on the stage floor.
To complement the projection, we had a camera solution in place so that everyone in the room could clearly see what was happening on stage. Which was appreciated by the audience on site.
Breakout room
During the days, a large number of breakout rooms were used for demonstrations and laboratory sessions. For these we provided a video, audio and lighting solution adapted to the size and needs of the rooms. To assist with all equipment we had a technician on site in each room.
Expo
In parallel to the conference, Rockwell Automation organised an exhibition in the H-Hall, Adapt delivered a high-resolution LED display with a pixel pitch of 2.5 mm. The LED screen was mounted in a structure made of BeMatrix frames, in which we also put prints on the surfaces where the LEDskin panels did not cover.
Studio Adapt
Rockwell also took the opportunity to rent our studio, which is located in the same building as the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre. Here we recorded exciting panel discussions mixed with lectures on new products. The footage was filmed with a three camera solution and will appear on their social media channels after the event is over.
Party night
On the last night of ROKLive, the stands were raised to the ceiling and the venue was transformed into a festive dinner party for all participants. The theme of the evening was the Swedish music scene. The band for the evening played music that everyone could sing along to and recognise. Music from Abba, Roxette, Ace of Base and others were performed from the stage.
To enhance the party atmosphere, disco balls 1 m in diameter were hoisted in front of the stage.
Scale up when needed
To solve all aspects of this project, we had a staff of 45 people consisting of project managers, technicians and construction staff on site. One of the strengths of Adapt is that we can scale up when projects come along that require it.
Enento creates a unique world-class hub meeting with our Cinema Connect concept
The company Enento held a big hub meeting and with the help of cinemas they connected their employees around the Nordic region. The broadcast offered a mix of inspiring talks, lectures and pre-recorded material. In the various lounges, participants could sit back in comfortable armchairs and enjoy a cinema experience that was out of the ordinary.
Together with the communication agency Koncept & Event, we have completed a fantastic project with our concept Cinema Connect. On behalf of their client Enento we produced a conference in the form of a large hub meeting. Around 450 of their employees across the Nordic region participated. The broadcast originated from our Studio Large on Västmannagatan in Stockholm and was subsequently streamed to cinemas in the three capitals of Oslo, Stockholm and Helsinki.
Enento held a large hub meeting with cinemas in Oslo, Stockholm and Gothenburg.
An environmentally friendly alternative
Communications agency Koncept & Event contacted us at Adapt with the task of creating a large conference for their end customer Enento. The reason for this was that the company has grown both in the number of employees and offices through a merger with other operations around the Nordic region. The original idea was to create a physical gathering, but considering both the economy and the environment, the organisers decided to use our Cinema Connect concept instead.
The hub meeting was led from our Studio Large in Stockholm.
A cinema visit out of the ordinary
The event involved linking cinemas in Oslo, Stockholm and Helsinki, with each guest receiving an invitation in the form of a classic cinema ticket. The organisers then broadcast live from the studio in Stockholm to the various cinemas where the participants were physically gathered. The theme of the event was film & super-heroes. As the digital posters in the foyers of the cinemas were branded with their own material, visitors were greeted by images of the presenters dressed as superheroes. Once in the cinemas, all guests were treated to soft drinks and popcorn. In the entrance hall we had also set up a photo wall in front of which they could be photographed together with their colleagues.
In the different cinemas, participants could both watch the broadcast and mingle.
Inspiring and interesting focus on content
In the studio on Västmannagatan, the moderators had been preparing since early morning. There were representatives from Norway, Sweden and Finland. The live broadcast included a mix of introductory talks, lectures and pre-recorded material. A popular feature of the programme was the speaker Julien Bourrelle who was present in the studio. He lectures on cultural differences and how they affect communication both at work and in society. The aim is to help companies take advantage of the diversity in their organisations. The event ended with a Q&A session followed by dinner at each venue.
It has been inspiring to work on this project and to be part of creating such a great hub meeting. There's something really special about connecting so many people across the Nordic region. We thank you for a great collaboration and hope to welcome both Koncept & Event and Enento back in the future.
PwC organised an interactive conference with recording at Fotografiska in Stockholm
When the time finally came to meet and network for real, PwC organised an interactive conference. In doing so, they filled the hybrid studio Annie at Fotografiska in Stockholm with engaged and excited employees. The conference was a hybrid production and we at Adapt were responsible for all the technical delivery.
For the first time since the pandemic, employees at PwC finally meet each other and network for real. I hybrid studio Annie at Fotografiska they held an interactive conference with participants from the Nordic countries and Germany.
The conference also featured speakers via link, which the audience could view on large screens.
Interactive conference with guests
Initially, they were only supposed to stream the conference, but during the course of the project, the organisers decided to have physical guests in the studio as well. Instead of a livestream, they created an interactive conference which they also recorded. Adapt was responsible for the entire technical production.
Several large screens were used so that everyone in the audience could see and follow the presentations.
Recording and technical production
To capture the content of the conference from multiple angles, we used four cameras for the recording. We had supplied decorative lighting for both the room and the entrance. In the entrance we had also installed a projector showing their logo. Outside, we had built a sign with the beMatrix system that welcomed visitors with both the logo and the theme of the conference.
A digital tool allowed the audience to answer and ask questions using their mobile phones.
Interactivity with digital tools
In the studio, they conducted lectures and panel discussions and also had speakers on link. There was a physical audience who could both ask and answer questions during the conference via a digital tool. To set the mood in the room, they also had custom animations as backgrounds on the walls for the different parts of the event. Outside the room, coffee and food were set out for participants to mingle during breaks.
It was a very successful conference for both the organiser and the participants.
Hybrid production is both physical and digital
This time, PwC conducted the conference as a hybrid production, meaning it would be beautifully produced to fit both in the room and digitally. What a great day it was for everyone, both the organiser and the participants as well as for us in the production team.
H&M held a kickoff with physical participants and live broadcast in the studios at Fotografiska
When H&M held a kickoff, they had both physical participants and digital viewers. Participants on site enjoyed speakers and mingling in the studios at Fotografiska in Stockholm. At the same time, remote participants could both watch the broadcast and listen to the lectures via a regular web browser.
H&M conducted a kickoff in the studios Annie and Ellen at Fotografiska in Stockholm. This kickoff was for employees and the content was therefore mostly about their own brand and how they can develop their work.
The studios were digitally branded with H&M's graphic profile projected on the LED walls.
Many participants
There were many physical participants at this event. Therefore, they chose to split into two rooms and both studio Annie and studio Ellen were full of happy and excited H&M employees.
The two studios Annie and Ellen at Fotografiska were packed when H&M held its kickoff.
Branded the studios digitally
The speakers thus had to switch between venues and give their lectures twice, first in Annie and then in Ellen. In both rooms there was a stage and they could also show their presentations digitally on the big screens behind. The two studios were also digitally branded with the H&M graphic profile projected on the led walls around the rooms. This corporate kickoff featured both external and internal speakers, a panel discussion, a small workshop for participants and then mingling.
Also in the studios were our technicians who monitored the digital broadcast to make sure everything was as good as possible.
Simple and effective solutions
The whole event live streams to participants who could not attend in person. Instead, they could follow the kick-off and access the content directly via a standard web browser. Despite a turbulent environment where participants are not always able to be present, there are simple and effective solutions. With a digital broadcast or livestream, you can still reach an unlimited number of viewers around the world with your content.
Byggmax CEO communicated with his employees via a live broadcast in our studio
When Byggmax held a live broadcast for its employees, its audience was scattered in different locations around the country. Employees were therefore able to follow the event digitally and access the content via a standard web browser. Could it be any more simple, effective and informative?
Byggmax conducted a live digital broadcast in cooperation with the communications agency Friends and Stories. The venue for the digital event was our Studio Adapt Large in Stockholm and consisted of a full hour of live broadcasting. Byggmax is a DIY chain with 100 stores in Sweden. The digital audience was thus made up of Byggmax employees. This was because the live broadcast was aimed at employees who were also in different locations around the country.
Byggmax CEO speaks in front of the LED screen in the studio at the digital event.
Live event with digital Q&A
The content of this live broadcast consisted of information and it was mainly Byggmax's CEO Mattias Ankarberg who spoke. In the studio, he went through the year's figures and budget as well as their vision for the future. This was followed by a 30-minute Q&A session where employees could ask questions via a chat and receive answers directly from the studio.
Branded studio gave a professional impression
When you conduct a live broadcast, you reach out with the same information to all your participants at the same time. In this case, Byggmax had chosen to brand the studio they were in to tie the content to their brand in a clear way. They had paid close attention to detail so that everything in the studio was consistent and therefore gave a professional impression. The large LED screen therefore showed an image of the Byggmax department store as the background in the studio. Our graphic designer also helped to brand the moderator's desk with the Byggmax logo.
In the mixing room at Studio Adapt Large, technicians ensured that the live broadcast maintained a high quality for both sound and image.
High digital quality without delays
Implementing a digital transmission in studio is a simple, effective and informative way to get your content out there. It means, among other things, better sound and images without delays. In this case, it was also two-way communication which meant that participants had the opportunity to interact with the studio via a chat. This allowed them to ask questions and at the same time receive answers directly during the live broadcast. In summary, the result was a live broadcast with a nice framing and high digital quality without any delays.

Global digital event with more than 5000 participants
Imagine a global digital event with 252 speakers, 5000 digital participants and 498 new matchmaking meetings. This was the result of the Sweden Innovation Days 2022 digital event when it was held at Studio Adapt Large. Doesn't that sound exciting?
Sweden Innovation Days was a global digital event that engaged companies all over the world. It was the organisers View Communication and Vinnova who organised the event. It was held over four full days in Studio Adapt Large in Stockholm while it was broadcast live digitally. The environment was at the top of the agenda at this digital event. Businesses around the world could access the content via three different platforms. The aim was to bring companies together for conversation and discussion and thereby find solutions to achieve the UN climate goals Agenda 2030.
Here you can see one of the speakers at the global digital event at Studio Adapt Large in Stockholm.
Digital event creates new opportunities
The organisers of Sweden Innovation Days 2022 targeted companies and Swedish companies were the main participants. In total, more than 5000 participants followed the event digitally in 97 countries. It also featured 252 speakers and of these, 94 participated remotely and spoke via a link that was connected to studio. The broadcast consisted of multiple scenes streamed to several different platforms. For example, there was a physical audience in the pavilion in Dubai watching on a big screen. On YouTube, viewers could access the content via Vinnova and the Swedish Energy Agency's channels. Participants also had the opportunity to log in digitally via an interactive meeting platform and thereby choose which parts they wanted to follow. At the same time, they could also create new interesting conversations and discussions. Sweden Innovation Days 2022 therefore also resulted in 498 new matchmaking meetings.
This is what the pavilion in Dubai looked like when the global digital event was shown on the big screen.
It became a global digital meeting place
A global digital event has no boundaries, either physical or in number of participants. With the impact of the pandemics and climate change, this was an excellent solution. Participants could now access the content from anywhere. They could also interact with each other through a digital and interactive meeting platform. As a result, business collaboration for the environment will now continue and take new directions. It's been great to be part of this project. We look forward to the next one!
The trade fair became a hybrid fair with the participant in focus
When faced with new challenges, the book fair was quickly changed. Instead, it became a hybrid fair where we produced and broadcast live from the fair and our Studio Large.
Book fair in Gothenburg is one of the most important annual literary events in Sweden and perhaps the most talked about and publicised fair of all. It has always been an important and extremely popular meeting point for Swedish publishers, authors and readers. But also for, for example, the education system and libraries.
Guest talks and interviews were broadcast digitally from two different studios.
This year's fair with a twist
During the pandemic, the book fair was quickly converted to a digital event. This year's fair took place from 23-26 September and had an additional twist; it became a hybrid fair with a focus on the attendee experience. For all four days of the fair, we delivered on Adapt production from two different digital studios, in close collaboration with the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre Gothia Towers. We produced and broadcast a wide range of programmes from our large Gothia Hybrid Event Arena as well as from our streaming studio Large.
Our studio technicians sat at the mixing desk, making sure the content was neat and the broadcast ran smoothly.
In 24 hours, Koenigsegg switched from exhibition stand to live broadcast
In February 2020, one of our AdaptTrailers on their way down to Geneva and the famous annual car showroom. Our colleagues Eventkraft had the technical responsibility for Koenigsegg's stand. On their behalf, we would deliver parts of the AV technical solution.
On the way down, we heard that the Coronavirus has begun to spread in Europe. So far, however, there was no indication that the car showroom would be cancelled. During three intensive days, the entire technical solution was built up and day and night was devoted to fine-tuning and programming.
Two days before opening, when virtually all the exhibition stands were completed, the news everyone feared for – the fair is cancelled! Work was suspended, the halls were emptied of staff for the weekend and everyone was preparing to return on Monday to begin dismantling. But not in Koenigsegg's booth. There were opportunities when others saw disappointment.
A large LED screen created the striking moving background in the booth
The stand is switched to live broadcast
Instead of packing up, the booth was quickly re-set for recording and live broadcast. The stand had originally been built to launch a series of new sports cars. When it was no longer possible to do with physical audiences, all resources on site were instead utilized to make a completely digital launch in a live broadcast. During 24 intense hours, all equipment if, movies were recorded and cut together. In addition, a 17-minute launch was directed. 24 hours later, they went live. And no longer to a limited physical audience, but to the whole world – as the only participating company at the Geneva International Motor Show!
Today, a year later, Koenigsegg's launch has had over 670,000 views on Youtube alone, and far more if you add all the other channels. We call this a really successful launch! We at Adapt are fantastically happy that we, together with Eventkraft, were able to participate in the implementation of this project, which was actually the first event that for us was transformed from physical to completely digital. And we are still very impressed with Koenigsegg's ability to act and courage! We hope you will be, too, after seeing this movie.
equipment and staff for international event - PiWorld in Gothenburg
Adapt delivered equipment to the international PiWorld event organised annually by the company OSIsoft. When the 2019 event was held in Gothenburg, Adapt delivered a complete solution that included equipment , technicians and project management.
The recurring #PiWorld event attracts 1500 visitors from all over the world. It took place over seven intensive days at the Swedish Exhibition Centre Gothia Towers in Gothenburg. Adapt's assignment was to deliver a turnkey technical solution with technicians and project management for the large congress hall that accommodates 1500 participants. We also supplied equipment and staff for seven smaller break-out rooms.
A 24×4.5 m curved projection screen was used to display presentations and camera footage
OSIsoft is in the business of processing and presenting data, and for them, large and clear image areas are very important. To ensure that their material could be displayed as clearly as possible, we custom-made a large 24×4.5 m curved screen that was mounted at the rear of the stage. On the large screen we projected presentations and camera images so that all participants in the room could clearly follow everything that was happening on stage.
During the days, a large number of speakers gave presentations from the stage. During the breaks, we were treated to entertainment from an ABBA-themed band.
Impactful projection mapping at Wermland Opera has become advent tradition
Adapt has been entrusted to deliver the projection solution to Wermland Opera's popular projection mapping for several years.
Projection mapping allows buildings to be transformed into impactful projection surfaces.
The projection mapping at Wermland Opera takes place every year for one week in December, starting on 1st Advent. It has become a real tradition in Karlstad and visitors travel far and wide to experience it. Adapt has been involved since the start of 2016 and has every year supplied projection solution and media servers for playing material. Adapt's staff has also ensured the construction, configuration and mapping of the façade.
Wermland Opera's façade show is a popular advent tradition in Karlstad
The projection on the façade is carried out with 3 bright Christie Boxer 4K30 projectors. Each projector has 4K resolution and delivers a whopping 30,000 ansilums in brightness. The content is playback from a WatchOut WatchMax media server. The content was created by Jan Branå at Eybrite, in close collaboration with Wermland Opera's musicians and ensemble.
Projecting on facades is an exciting way to bring old buildings to life.
Impactful stage solution when international congress was held at Gothia Towers
In June 2019, on behalf of the Spanish agency The Market Room, we delivered the audiovisual solutions to the GSK event at Gothia Towers in Gothenburg. During two intense days, we built up scenography and equipment in Gothia Towers E-hall and Kongresshall.
The event was held in Gothia Tower's congress hall where guests can sit in a pitch bed.
In the E-hall, which was used for sitting conference with round tables, we built up a scenography with our backdrop system AV Drop. On the background that was 18×4 m large, printed material was combined with projection.
The stage background in the E-hall was built in Adapt's flexible AV-drop system.
The congress hall was used for the larger conference sessions. In the room we rigged up a 24×4.5 m large curved AV Drop projection screen to provide maximum visibility for all guests in the curved seating. The projection was made with 8 pcs Christie Boxer 4K30 Projectors stacked twice for maximum redundancy.
A 24×4.5m curved projection screen created an impactful setting and background on stage.
Under the projection screen was a curved high-resolution LED screen that was used as an effective background for the speakers and as a complement to the projection. To get comprehensive graphics that could go both over the projection and the LED screen, WatchOut mediaservers in combination with Barco e2 image mixer system.
Under the projection screen, a curved LED screen was used to provide an effective background to the speakers.
Gold glittering stage solution for the Golden Wheel gala at the Annex
Gyllene Hjulet is a gala for the sponsorship and event industry where the best projects of the year are presented and celebrated. On behalf of SES and Go! Delivered Adapt technology solution for the 2019 gala. At annexet we built up two different areas; a foreming and after-party area and a glittering gala scene.
The golden wheel's gold glittering scene was created with both LED screens and projection technology.
In the mingle area we rigged up a smaller stage with sound, light and image technology adapted for DJ and party. Alongside the dance floor, we created an interactive VR gaming surface with integrated LED screen on both inside and outside. Inside the design, which was built by the flexible beMatrix booth system, guests were able to test their skills in the VR game BeatSaber.
Interactive game surface where guests could test their skills in BeatSaber in front of a large LED screen.
The gala stage was adapted for seated guests in long tables and took advantage of the entire width of the Annex. With 24 m of projection space and a 3-camera production, we ensured that even the guests at the back of the room would be able to clearly see content and people on stage. The stage design was created by our lighting designer Michael "Igge" Karlsson and, in addition to a large number of light fixtures, also included our new LED towers that were clad with beMatrix LED skin LED panels. All projection and LEDequipment synchronized to display graphics and effects across the entire scene surface.
On stage, not only were awards handed out, there was also room for really good artist entertainment!
To further extend the stage and take out the light show in the room, our wireless LED light cubes were placed on the tables. The cubes were connected to our light table and programmed to be part of the stage show.
Construction, show and dismantling took place over two intense days. Many thanks to our partners beMatrix and GL Nordic who were present.
During the Golden Wheel Gala, guests enjoyed a luxurious 3-course dinner in front of the stage.
Intense weeks as the Google Cloud Summit event toured between Stockholm, Munich and Amsterdam
Google Cloud Summit is a recurring annual event held in different cities in Europe. Adapt Has been entrusted by wonder agency to provide projection solutions on several occasions and deliver the technical solutions to the events, both inside and outside Sweden.
Adapt delivered audio technology, lighting technology, imaging technology and staff to Google Cloud Summit scenes.
The latest Google Cloud Summit was held in Stockholm, Munich and Amsterdam, among others. The events are aimed at developers and customers who use Google cloud services and attract about 3,000 visitors per city. Adapt Delivered sound technology, lighting technology, imaging technology and staff to the three cities. During four intensive weeks we toured with staff and equipment that guaranteed the same functionality in all cities. The solutions we built were adapted to each city's local conditions.
The scenes looked different in all cities as they were adapted to the different facilities.
In all cities, a large stage solution was built where 3000 seated participants could gather. The stage was used for keynote lecturers and presentations. The focus was on a large and clear projection solution so that all participants in the room could see both presentations and camera shots clearly.
Even the break-out rooms were nicely designed with a graphic back wall and projection on one side.
In each city we also built up 4 break-out scenes. They were used for smaller break-out sessions with up to 200 participants in each room. The image solution in the rooms consisted of projection or LED screen, depending on each room's local conditions.
During the events, a partner area was also built up for exhibitors. The partner area was light and sounded so that we could create an atmospheric environment that appealed to both vision and hearing.
Some of the break-out rooms used a high-resolution LED screen that folded into the stage wall.
Comprehensive solution for congress in digital marketing at Waterfront
FEPE is a worldwide organization that works with digital outdoor advertising. When they held their annual congress at the Waterfront in Stockholm, Adapt the mission to deliver a complete production with sound, lighting and imaging technology.
Large screens were important in Congress so that the speakers' messages could be clearly seen by all participants.
Since FEPE works with digital marketing, it was important to have a total production containing large image areas and digital messages. The challenge at waterfront is that the congress room is partly rounded, which means that too wide tablecloths cannot be used. We therefore developed an image solution consisting of angled edgeless canvases that were put together into one large projection surface. The total size of the projection was an impressive 24 m width and 4.5 m height.
The three large screens, which were seamlessly connected to each other, were used for presentations and camera shots.
International event at the Gothia Towers Congress Hall
On behalf of Gothia Towers, Adapt a comprehensive solution with equipment and staff for a 2-day conference in the congress hall.
Our customer, a large international company, wanted a stage solution that would work both for conference and dinner with afterparty. The solution could easily be changed and adapted to different themes during the day.
The stage was used for conference during the day and party in the evening.
We designed a stage solution where we used 3 edgeless projection screens. Together they gave a total image area of 24×4.5 m. The projection created an impactful backdrop to the stage while providing a large picture area to display presentations, camera images, and graphics. The image solution was created with 3 Christie Boxer 4K30 projectors together with WatchOut and Vista Spyder X20.
In the evening, the stage was used for entertainment and DJ.
The projection was complemented by an effective lighting consisting of moving luminaires placed above the canvas and on the stage floor. The theme of the evening was Scandinavian northern lights, snow and ice. We picked up the theme in the evening by using our GlaCi ice blocks and ice trees that were illuminated effectively with LED luminaires.
In the congress hall, the room was set up with long tables so that everyone had a good view of the stage.
Exuberant and crackling SBCA gala in The Blue Hall of City Hall
The Swedish Beauty &Cosmetics Awards are Sweden's largest and most prestigious gala for beauty and cosmetics. Every year in April, the entire beauty industry follows the Swedish nominations for the last year's products. On behalf of TI Group, we were entrusted to deliver a complete solution for galas with sound, lighting and visual technology for the gala's 10th anniversary in Blå Hallen. We also built stands and activations for the sponsors in the Golden Hall.
When the guests arrived, of course, they had to photograph themselves at a photo wall.
Since the gala was held in Blå Hallen, which in itself is a very beautiful venue, we wanted to add as few extra elements as possible. Instead of building an extra stage, we used the existing staircase as a stage solution. The entire wall behind the stairs was projection mapped and used as a projection surface for graphics, images and effects.
The staircase in the Blue Hall was used as a stage. The wall behind the projection map was mapped to show graphics and effects.
In the middle of the wall was mounted an 8 m projection screen that was used for the films and elements that needed a clear and clear picture. The entire projection of the wall was made with two Boxer 4K30 Projectors in 4K mode, which meant that the resolution was sufficient to also map the projection screen in the middle without having to add an additional projector.
The projection on the walls and light in the room created an impactful setting.
In the Golden Hall, which was used for foreming, exhibitors and after-partying, we helped the sponsors with the construction of stands and exposures. We also built a nightclub framed by beMatrix panels and our 3.1 mm LED wall.
The Golden Hall was used for mingling and sponsors. There we built up several stands and a stage for DJ.

Autoexperten arranged After-Ski party for 1600 guests during automässan
During the Automässan, held at the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre Gothia Towers, Autoexperten had one of the largest stands. One of the fair's highlights was the big party that Autoexperten invited to. Adapt was commissioned by AIE to deliver décor and equipment to this event and its 1600 guests. The event was held in Gothia Towers F-hall, which was divided into a mingle area and a dinner room with several different scenes.
The entrance to the event went through once made of blocks of ice, ice trees and décor snow.
Guests made their entrance through a passageway with snowfall and blocks of ice. Once inside, they were met by a room decorated in aPrès-Ski theme and a projected fund with moving graphics.
Since the ceiling height in the F-hall is quite low, about 5 m, we used the rear projection for the 26 meter wide stage. It created an impactful background that could easily be changed between different stage performances.
As a backdrop to the scene, a 24 m wide rear projection was used that changed during the evening.
In order for guests further back in the room to have a good presence and clarity, the image solution was reinforced with 4 delay screens and camera production. All imaging technology was connected to a large image system so that all image surfaces could be controlled and adapted individually.
The sound system consisted of a larger main system on either side of the stage and a number of smaller delay systems further back. It provided a good and even soundscape throughout the venue and worked well for the performers both when they were on stage or moving out in the audience.
In the middle of the venue, a round stage was placed so that the performers could move out into the audience.
The lighting system consisted of moving luminaires on stage and LED lighting for lighting around the room as well as dinner seating.

Party and festival at Nobelberget as SVT celebrates 60 fantastic years
When SVT turned 60, 1,800 employees celebrated together with a big party at Nobelberget. On behalf of WOW event, we were entrusted to plan and deliver a complete solution with the environment and equipment to this party. The theme was "burning man meets melodifestivalen", which meant that guests moved between several completely different areas with varying food, music and feeling. A concept that was really exciting to interpret and work out.
The façade of Nobelberget was brightened and invited visitors to a fantastic evening.
Raw, industrial feel
The party was arranged at Nobelberget which consists of clean and rough surfaces perfectly adapted to the theme. The premises consist of a former warehouse, a sports hall, an outdoor courtyard and office space/backstage area. Since the premises themselves have a raw and industrial feel, we were able to use equipment, projections and décor elements quickly turn them into impactful environments.
When the guests arrived, they were already met on the hill up to Nobelberget by a "festival pen" with loud flamethrowers and atmospheric background music. Trees, shrubbery and façade were effectively illuminated. At the entrances, an acoustic, ambulatory live band played music while guests entered the "warehouse" or "hall".
Thank you for a great collaboration that produced fantastic results! The evaluation meeting with the customer was a delight, they were so satisfied!
Christine, project manager WOW Event
The warehouse, which is a former warehouse clad with pallet racks, was used as a quieter mingle area. With the help of 470 light bulbs and profile spotlights, we created a warm and cozy feeling in sharp contrast to the barren industrial environment. Even the stage, which was used for quieter performances and Dj's, went in the same glow light theme. On one long side we projected graphics, effects and live image from the main stage in Hallen.
With 470 light bulbs, a warm and exciting feeling was created in the warehouse
From sports hall to concert hall and dance floor
The hall, previously used as a sports venue, was converted into a concert hall and dance floor. On stage, DJs were mixed with live bands and performers to give a real festival feel. Various details of the room, the beams in the ceiling and the dance floor were illuminated with LED luminaires to create a hard and clubbing feeling. A 26×6 m wall was used as a projection surface for graphics, effects and information. The projection was made with 3 pcs Christie Boxer4K30 projectors controlled from WatchOut 6 Media Server.
The large hall was used as a concert venue. Adapt created a 26×6 m large projection mapping on one wall.
In the courtyard we built a tent with a Swedish folk park feel; light loops in the ceiling, lawn on the floor and market stall with wooden barrels for food service. The tent was used as a quieter food area.
Between the tent and the backstage area, an outdoor stretch of about 20 m long, we created an umbrella walkway with lighting and heaters. The area served as a light weatherproof transport distance between the tent and the backstage area but also as a smoke area.
Outdoors, lighted umbrellas were used as weather protection and impactful framing.
Finally, we built a quiet and cozy backstage area in Nobelberget's former office space. Here, a Jazz band played calm background music while conversing with their acquaintances from the bottom of a deep armchair.
The backstage area was decorated with furniture and lighting to create a cozy feel and setting.
Many thanks to WOW and all partners for a great collaboration.
Gala and award show for Sector Alarm at Clarion Post in Gothenburg
On behalf of Hansen, Adapt Sector Alarm Awards at Clarion Post in Gothenburg. A gala evening for 500 people with presentations, awards ceremonies, music and entertainment in all its forms.
The wish of our customer was that we would create a flexible and efficient stage and technology solution that "took care" in the room. It would also serve as a beautiful backdrop for dinner, exciting setting for various artist performances and presentation space for speakers.
The stage solution filled the room with feeling and framing
Based on the wishes above, we developed a stage solution with 3 baking projection screens that together formed a 20 m wide background. The canvases were framed with white gala fabrics and the entire stage was covered with red carpet. With projections, we then created a stage fund that could change at the touch of a button. During dinner, Instagram images from the evening were shown live, at artist performances complemented the background graphics stage show and when it was time for different speakers, their presentations were shown on the pages.
The 3 large projection screens together formed a 20 m wide stage background.
